That last ending explained for those confused: Basically, the husbro actually did leave and never married the girl. The timeline loops were things created in his head to imagine a perfect future with the girl where they stay in love, get married, have a kid, and no dad to stop them. The ending quote of "letting her go" was the dad telling him to stop being a creep and face reality. So now he doesnt create those stories anymore, there's nothing for you to replay after that ending. Edit: damn 1k likes, thanks samurai fam

I’ve seen a theory for this game and it’s crazy but makes perfect sense. The “Listen Ending” is actually the beginning of the timeline of events. These 2 people meet, date, get married and are about to have a baby. For all they know they’re strangers. The husband comes home and then the conversation plays out, the wife goes to the bathroom to get the watch and then suggest going out on a walk. Now on their walk she shows the husband the watch and tells her past. How she ran from home and she tells him she’s pregnant. Since she’s pregnant she wants to visit home and reconnect with her dad. They both end up going to do this and all the normal stuff like introduce her new husband and inform the dad about the baby but instead the dad realizes the husband is actually his son. Which leads into the talking scenes in the library.

Another great touch is the painting behind the couch. It shows two big trees and I think a little one between them, and they had leaves. But after you learn your wife is your sister, the painting shows two barren trees far apart from one another.

Here's a little recap, so basically the main character wanted to tell his his wife's dad, well at the time it was his crush anyway he wanted to tell her dad that he loved her, her dad got mad tried to shoot him but he accidentally shot the dad. So since the dad and the nanny had an affair the main character is the baby they had, the dad was saying "monster" because that's what the dad's wife called the main character, but the dad's daughter had a different mom, so the main character's wife is his step sister but he got her pregnant. The cop knew that the nanny was the main character's mom because the cop was friends with the dad. So that's a little recap if you don't know what's going on, but you most likely do know what's going on because you probably watched the full video. If you haven't watched the video yet and your just looking at the comments I just spoiled the whole thing for you.

Yes. Everything in the game outside the library/office is in the player's mind. He's imagining scenarios where he could be with his sister. He's never had a family and has built a life up around her and their relationship. Their father stops it from progressing any further than dating, but the player (brother) has this fantasy where he gets into a fight with his father when the truth is revealed, he accidentally kills their father, runs away with the sister, and lives an isolated life with her and their baby. The other apartments are different realities he hasn't explored yet. The apartment with the crying baby is after the child he imagined is born and the vacant apartment is the choice he hasn't yet made to leave his sister alone entirely.
