Cosmos bipinnatus is a brilliant plant! It flowers for ages from mid summer into autumn. It's an annual which means you'll have it for one season only but it's so worth having in your garden because of its flower power.
Cosmos bipinnatus is great in borders or pots. Plant it in full sun in a moist but well drained soil. It's really useful for plugging gaps in borders to add instant extra colour and beauty. I often add it to planting schemes when borders begin to wane in August as it extends the season of interest into late summer/autumn.
This cosmos is attractive to bees, butterflies and hoverflies.
