Glorius colour! I was thinking you've done well with this weather. Its my first time trying salvias, farinacea and victoria blue home grown but the weather has been a shocker, all my plants are a lot shorter this year, im taller than some of my sunflowers at only 5ft lol all good things come in small packages, thats what i say 😂

Nice pots and plant selections. We have salvia amistad and salvia love and wishes in pots. We keep them in the glasshouse over winter to protect them. We feed them with tomato feed once a week during the summer.

Should it be pruned only in winter, or could it also be pruned in late summer? Mine is incredibly leggy and I don't want it too get too out of hand.. 😂

Can one of these plants go red twice in a year, mine never did but it has this year, is it down to Climate change or have i just been lucky, it should go red again about March or at least i hope so because they look beautiful when they come out deep red, thanks. 🐞🌺.

Would very much like to see more final/end results of the plants weeks later in your videos, even if its just a photo if you took inspiration from somewhere. I know it makes videos much longer to complete but they are the money shots. I would have loved to have seen the result of your clients cottage garden in full bloom with the hardy geraniums, campanulas and foxgloves, as i can only imagine. You're a delight to watch and i look forward to learning more, take care 😊

I laughed when you said you don't like looking at soil. You mean, poor quality soil. Have a word with your client and discuss the merits of manure, mulching, etc. It will be worth the time and expense. Trust me, I'm a cottage gardener! Thanks for sharing your knowledge of plants. Thank you for sharing. Love the foxes and the geraniums.

We have three geranium rozannes in the flower beds. They are in full bloom at the moment and will be cut back at the end of June or early July. They will come back again for late summer colour.

We have planted 2 x9cm little containers last April into the flowerbeds and they are growing very well. Hopefully they flower this year and slugs and snails don't seem to like them.

Great selection of plants for a window box, They are the bees knees. We have two windowsills at the front of the cottage with three small pots on each windowsill. This year we planted osteospermums in each pot and the bees love them.

This is one of the most unknown and underrated plants. And be grown from seed . Biennial type is evergreen, unusual colors including mink brown,and its very fragrant.

Here in Portland Oregon, we had an ice storm last Winter, I have a large hardy fuchsia that I love, looks all dried up now, so I need to give it a good pruning. So your video showed up just in time.

Hello, thank you for your video. Your garden looks like mine did two weeks ago. It's April 2nd 2024 and here in my garden in central France the daffodils have mostly all gone over and the tulips are not quite at their height. The irises are beginning to form buds and some teeny tiny buds have appeared here and there on a few English roses. The Lady Banks rose is about to burst into bloom and the peonies are about to begin leafing out. Judging by what I describe, is it too late to prune my lavender? I was just looking at it today and wondering about that. It's in a pot and has not yet lived a year with me. I'd say it's about 35 cm all around. We are getting rain every day and temperatures are ranging from 7 at night to about 18 degrees celsius with warmer temperatures expected this week. What do you think?
