Excellent review, I have just bought one and I am looking forward to using it. Instead of using my massive oven which I bought and didnt think about how long it takes to heat up, which is 13 minutes and the amount of extra electricity it is costing me. So this is so much smaller and hopefully will meet a family of three needs. thanks so much for such a variety of foods, that is super helpful.

Little hint to stop so much dripping, if you are worried about that here. I mean I havent got one of these yet but I would imagine it is a great help if dripping is a big issue. Lift the skin from the meat by sliding a knife underneath the skin from the back end of the chicken and sliding it carefully under the skin so its between the skin and meat, then gently slide the knife side to side but make sure not to pierce the skin at all and do that to create a large pocket so to speak. Get your rub whether butter n garlic or spices etc and use the knife to slide the rub under the skin so its inside the pocket, get as much as you can or want in there and then pat the skin back down that you entered in at the start with the knife. Rub the chicken now so that you spread the butter or what ever rub you placed between the skin and meat all over as much as you can, always being careful not to pierce the skin anywhere as you doing it all because this will cause burning spots of the meat. Then cook as normal whether rotation or standard, not only will far less rub etc drip (much much less actually) but also far less of it is wasted and the rub and flavour of the butter and spices or what you used goes into the meat itself a lot more as well as the skin whilst still crisping the skin up just as if you used the rub on the outside Great video, have two of these turning up and one is this model, one is another cheaper brand in pink, want to try them both out and see what I think when they arrive, this video helped a lot though!

Did the chicken drip grease on the heating elements? Were they hard to clean up properly? Can this be avoided with Chickens?

Do the bottom elements get very mucky?
