Thanks so much!! Much appreciated! The long johns actually are pretty bad closer up, but mostly because of all of the brown paints and leather rubbed against them, which actually gives it a nice wear and tear look. Thank you for pointing that out =)

Julia Norris Thanks so much!!! For seeing, I have a camera in the middle of me chest plate and I wear goggles inside the helmet. I can't ever really see people's faces since it's so low, but it allows me to see where I'm going. Since it doesn't give me much depth oerception, I still hold either my Little Sister or Splicer's hand when going through tight places. Secone, this is going to sound weird but the leg braces are made of horse barrel! Pretty much any plastic or eva would work, but I started on this cosplay when I wasn't as familiar with materials. They move because they're held together by nuts and bolts! I appreciate your comment! Let me know if you have any more questions and I'll do my best to help =)

Mine was in the process while I was still learning a lot of different techniques, so most of her is fiberglass (which I don't regret using). It did get really heavy, but I was able to handle the weight since I'm a little more bulky. After a few hours it mostly started to hurt my shoulders and a few points inside of the chest piece bruised my collarbone after long wear, but there are ways around it. I usually use pool noodles as padding under the piece on my shoulders to help =) Overall, I'd guess the entire top armour piece weighs about 50 pounds. As you could imagine, that's a lot of stress on the upper part of the body. A few short breaks make it doable, though! Plus both adults and children alike love the costume, so it's worth it in my eyes. Walking around sometimes in itself can be a little wobbly with all the weight, but I think it looks cool with the helmet on and adds to the effect~ There are a few ways to make her lighter, overall, but in the end you're still going to at LEAST be dealing with roughly 20 pounds, even using foam. It all adds up with all the different pieces you have to have attached. If you think the weight would be too much, you could go as Eleanor. She's still a recognizable character and you could still have a helmet with her.

Okay, This is going to help me alot thank you! I knew that there was going to be alot of weight and stress on the upper body because of the chest piece and helmet but this makes me feel a little more comfortable wearing it, I'm a bit more bulkier myself since I work out alot so hopefully it won't be as bad!
