Bioshock Bigsister Helmet- How to make part 1

Awesome! My first KZfaq video explaining how to make a Bigsister helmet from bioshock! I hope someone finds this helpful!
What to have for part 1:
Items needed:
- two foam hemispheres
- The top of an aerosol can
- Smooth Finish
- Hot glue
- Hot glue gun
- Googly eyes, various sizes
- Oatey Solder Wire
- Craft foam
- Clear green office divider
- Green LED’s - www.amazon.com/Operated-RTGS-P...
- Plastic cord jump rope
Tools needed:
- Hot glue gun
- Heat gun (optional)
- Scissors
- Exacto Knife
- Serrated knife
- Bobby pins (optional)
- Wire cutter (large)
- Measuring tape

Also a note to the people who participated in the Liberty City Cosplay Music Video! A few months ago the chip that contained the video footage was smashed when I dropped my laptop. I sent it to a place to try to recover the data and I got a CD back after a while! I haven’t looked at it yet however since I’ve been busy. If everything works out though I will have the music video up soon!

I still wonder why they only have certain Big Daddy toys:Bouncer,Elite Bouncer,Rosie,Elite Rosie,Subject Delta But No Rumbler Big Daddy. I hope they make it,or I will try and make one myself!

Your helmet turned out amazing. This is the first video I've ever found that actual makes sense and is able to understand. Followed and hoping to see part 2 soon. Definitely going to follow some of your ideas (add my own ideas too) to make mine. Love how it turned out!

Wow! I love this video. can you tell me the measurement of the circumference of the helmet? I do not know whether to buy it 30 or 40 centimeters . I do not find it from 35 centimeters

chest armor? lets see, For that I used a stryafoam circle as a base, one that was big enough for me to comfortably get my head through, then I glued/taped it with duct tape to a piece of felt i cut out in the right shape. After that I took some craft foam and covered the showing foam and felt with it. next I used some more craft foam to do some detailing on it, like giving it a weird shape. After that I glued some googley eyes for rivets. then I primed and painted it! What parts are you having problems with?

+Teal Curlew I think you should. You sure have a talent for it. We did meet briefly in the cafeteria Saturday when I asked for your pic, and said bioshock was my favorite game. I actually got dragged away by my friends, but when I came back to find you and talk more about your costume and how awesome bioshock is, I couldn't find you. Luckily, one of your friends have me your KZfaq channel name so I could follow you.

Do you know what size the foam half spheres you used were? I have to order all of my supplies online so its difficult for me to tell if what I'm buying is to scale

How did you make the chest plate and neck brace thing?

The breast plate is made from a foam tube covered in craft foam and craft foam molded to fit my shoulders. then I added detail and painted it. In the future I'm probably going to remake it though

what did you use for the bodysuit?

+CaptainShuck I ordered a body suit from china off of eBay. It works fine although it is a bit tight in some areas like my back and neck area. Then I painted it using red and black dye. If you were to do the same I suggest you get a size larger than your normal size, this makes the suit look baggy which is closer to what Eleanor lamb wears (if you are doing big sister then maybe get it a little tighter so you can put all the accessories on top). In my case though, I ordered a large when in US sizes I'm usually a medium. The suit still turned out a bit tighter than I wanted it too but it was ok. If I were to continue updating this cosplay, I might sew one from scratch thats fitted to my body and a little baggy around the leg area.

Would the hemispheres work for a normal big daddy suit?🤔

yes i believe so :) you may have to buy a larger one however, I'm not sure if they do sell those. Im not sure which big daddy you are talking about but if you mean the bouncer big daddy perhaps yes if you can find a larger hemisphere!

How many hours do you need to do the Helmet? (Im sorry, i don't speak English and im still learning it, if there's mistakes im Sorry)

Hi there! I would say if I sat down now with the goal of finishing it in a week, it would probably take me about 20-30 hours depending on how much of a hurry I was in. If you are looking to save time, sticking it in front of a fan or two really helps to cut down on the drying time. And don't worry your english is fine :)
