Bhai why to multiply everything by 50 INR? Do you guys get paid in INR? No right. So when you earn in dollars you end up spending in dollars. But yeah it took me 6-8 months to stop converting everything in INR so maybe tahts a settling in curve which everyone goes through.

To top it as well, who n why one buy veggies from Indian store? Its a no brainer that the local stuff will be much cheaper in the local stores. In Canada, almost all frontino, nofrills, walmart sell Indian stuff. One goes to the desi stores only for desi stuff.

Hi, good video, but find my feedback (hope this will help). 1. I don't know what part of Mississauga you are coming from. There are good groceries shops in Mississauga as well such as: Thiara Super Market, Mr. India, Royal India, Fatima Grocers 2. for a haircut there are very good saloons available such as first haircut BUT it depends who is cutting your hairs. 3. Good quality vegetables are available at Ocean super market, the nations food only for good vegetables & fruits 4. all the local products such as sugar, oil etc are advisable to get it from Walmart, food basic, super store etc as its cheap there. The sugar bhabhi got for $3 you can get the same stuff for less in Canadian stores. The Indian / pakistani stores are specialized stores where you can get local indian or pakistani stuff. whereas, rest of the stuff you can get it from canadian stores.

Guys you can not convert canadian expenses to INRs. It does not make any sense. If you are spending 12.5k INR per week on groceries then u might be earning way more than that. Ratio comes out to be same as in India. Canada is way cheaper than India if you compare it with basic earning of a person over there.

Nice video. Gives us a real insight into the life in Canada. We in India crib so much about the prices and haggle and bargain with the shop owners. But after seeing this I think we are lucky to be in India. We may not earn so much but the ease of shopping and the prices here are definitely much better. But to each his own. Nice informative video. Ek like to banta hai.

Keep the videos coming guys. I really appreciate you guys efforts to show the things as they are in Canada. After looking at the stuff available in Canada, I think it's not going to be that difficult to gel in.

I think shopping in bulk would be preferable...for example buying more than one packet of let's say dals.. which have more shelf life and used more often... I too stay in Canada....but after watching ur video I realized it

No point in comparing it with Indian prices because you are or will be earning in Canadian dollars. Secondly, it is always advisable to buy things like milk, bread, Yoghurt, sugar, salt, household cleaners ets from stores like Real canadian Superstore or Walmart. Indian store should be visited for specifically Indian products like spices, special Aatas like rice flour or bajre ka aata or certain veggies. Good Luck.

If you feel things are expensive in Canada you should have a look at the prices for same commodities in Australia and New Zealand it’s almost double.
