I purchased a similar Booster Pack from Costco two years ago. I used it to start vehicles - including a rental box truck - many times. I think the problem was the Ford you were attempting to start is calibrated for KM/H instead of MPH as used in the states. The pixies can't do the conversion in real time.

That “ratchet starter” is a feature! That’s in case someone (god knows who would) try’s to steal it, you have enough time to either 1: grab the rifle and the shells, open the window and frame the shot. Or 2: put on your coat and boots and help him get it out of the yard, maybe give him a few bucks to say he never saw you. So you aren’t as jumpy when you report it stolen and turn it in to the insurance so you can buy a new four wheeler.

That 6 cylinder has no compression on one cylinder. We actually use those tiny battery jumpers now in the lot and they work pretty good, but I'm located here in California where it almost never gets down to freezing on the coldest day or the year. Good fun to watch thumbs up video. Thanks!

I have one of these jumper pack things. It works pretty good actually, generally will give about 5-6 jumps. I had a car with a ground issue that took a couple weeks to hunt down. so i got to test this out in depth.
