I flew to LA to go grocery shopping with Thomas Delauer at Costco and get some healthy ingredients to make breakfast recipes with. In part one of this collab, we shop at Costco and tell you the top healthy breakfast grocery items to buy, and a few to avoid. I do too. All about logistics. Some Costcos are bigger than others (more shelf space) + different products sell well in certain areas based on demographics. Also depending on different companies on their distributing... Sometimes they cannot get them to the east coast or midwest or south.

Acai does a FABULOUS job of masking the taste of greens. I use Sarah Ballantyne's Collagen Veggie Blend and it is FAB with acai, pineapple and some MCT oil. The collagen contains 3 servings of veggies and 1 serving of fruit, so if you are struggling to get in your greens, it is a killer way to do it and it makes a great smoothie. Also, bring this fella back any time--very knowledgeable and I like taking advice from someone who is obviously taking care of him/herself.

I come from a family with high cholesterol and diabetes and high blood pressure. I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol. I want to loose weight the right way but in a clean healthy eating lifestyle.

Bobby now you know what it is like to some degree, as in Canada my area anyway none of the Costco fresh produce is organic, no pasture raised eggs either, just free range or organic.

Costco cinnamon is the cassia type. If you are searching for higher quality cinnamon, choose Ceylon cinnamon. :)

Love watching you. I have switched to whole foods-plant based, almost the opposite of the keto diet, so I appreciate any healthy food you recommend that works for my kind of eating (I.e. no meat, cheese, oils, dairy).
