The flavor is hard define, but the best description is of a "textured cheesecake with a milky flavor, slightly less sweet and tangy, but still with a good amount of sugar and a bit of sourness in the background." Cottage Cheese Pie Recipe Ingredients
1 1/2 cups small-curd cottage cheese, full fat (170g)
3/4 cup white sugar (180g) *I started with 1/2 cup, then added more later
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 9-inch pie crust

Very unique pie. Whats the history of it, would be interesting. Thought it would be savory, like a Quiche or gratin. Sweet pie like a custard tart .. nice! Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤

I’ve got another great cottage cheese dessert recipe for you😊 Cottage cream dessert Fold cottage cream gently in with heavy cream whipped until pretty stiff 50/50 Add sugar and vanilla to taste. It’s best to add it when whipping the cream.. Chop up an orange or more if you like ( cut most of the skin off) or a can of mandarin oranges ( well drained ) and add to the dessert mix. Cool in the fridge for a couple of hours fruit sauce by cooking orange juice and sugar to taste And add a corn starch slurry to the thickness you would like your sauce to be😊 A very fresh and tangy dessert that’s cheap delishious and full of protein . Easy to make and you can feed a lot of people for little money .. One can use sweetener instead of sugar for keto or low carb. We were taught this at school in kitchen/ nutrition class 😊 Hope you’ll try it❤ Love from Norway

Wow, that definitely does sound good. Now that you mention it, I think orange would go with cottage cheese very well--especially mandarin oranges. Like you said, lots of protein as well--so it's healthy! Thanks for sharing the fantastic idea! 🥧👨‍🍳
