Its all about perspective. I thought my theme was "were young, broke and outdoorsy" turns out my theme was "cottage core" 😂 It really did look cool tho!

Funny enough, for a cottagecore wedding dress I kinda imagine a retro inspired white linen dress. Maybe with some embroideries, but something quite different from the $$$$ full beaded lace tulle giant ballgowns you usually see

I love the sustainability angle for this! The wedding industry can be super wasteful, so it’s nice to see some thought out into that aspect.

Yaaassss!! My plan is the cottagecore theme and I'm SO EXCITED, this represents the aesthetic so well 💖💖💖 also definitely micro wedding lol but it may not all be handmade by me but everything that isn't will come from small businesses.

@@juliacovert9170 I don't but there might be an equivalent here! I'll have to look into it, thanks for sharing! I am definitely prepared to splurge on dress, bouquet and cake. I have a very specific vibe I want with the dress and bouquet(still small business) and I have food allergies so getting a cake I can eat will not be cheap lol.

As if that isn’t just as expensive as getting it premade? The only people with the time, equipment, materials, and time to acquire skills like embroidery can just have play pretend that they’re poor instead of taking the “money saving” solution.
