We have catmint in our yard as well. The hummingbirds are my absolutely amazing and they LOVE the catmint. Bees absolutely love it too. It’s my favorite 😍

So beautiful! I am totally in love with Hydrangeas right now! I have several that are in full bloom and they bring me so much joy! I think my next choice will be to add some cat mint! So lovely as always sweet Amy!!

So beautiful! We moved into our new home last November 1. So I’ve just started planting the front bed with perennials (it “came” with 2 knock out roses a holly and some type of green bush with red hues. I’m going to continue the bed around the side of the house to a cottage garden type. Your plants gave me so many ideas…. Can’t wait to complete my own now. Thank you!

Hi Amy your garden is so beautiful! I found out something just recently about hydrangeas I wanted to share....when you cut them and bring them inside ... If they start to droop after a couple of days or so or even a little longer you can take them out of the vase or container that you have them in and submerge them in water in your sink (the bloom and all.) They will soak up the water and give the blooms possibly up to another week to enjoy. ~ Robin from NC~

I also have a cottage garden, they are so much fun! This year I will have to divide some of my perennials before they turn into monsters 😁 I can use those pieces to start a garden in my back yard. I also am going to try some flowering herbs in that garden as I have seen those are often part of cottage gardens. There is a lot of room for experimentation with this type of garden.
