Love it but you need to transplant the mint into it’s own container because it will take over and possbile choke you other herbs. I learned that lesson years ago. Have a great week !

I have a salad and herb bowl It has spinach, red leaf lettuce, green lettuce leaf, cilantro, chives, basil, parsley and rosemary! I love my on my balcony!

As long as you cut on it frequently it should stay in check...welllll....maybe the mint will give you a run for your money...but you can share with all of your neighbors, right😂!! Very beautifully done...the vinca was the icing on the cake...I mean container.. BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Love having a herb garden for the summer! I would seriously reconsider the mint. I did it last year and it took over my small little herb planter. It haunted me all summer. Lesson learned, I would definitely plant it separately 🪴🍃

Lavender also good for keeping bugs away😊

I love the herb garden, I have a couple of them also. I did one to help repel mosquitos, lemon grass, lemon balm, rosemary lemon thyme. mint tends to take over things you might want to plant by itself. Thanks for the video

That is such a great idea. Now I’m going to have to hit Tractor Supply for some galvanized buckets. I’ll have to get something new and find a way to age it. And hope my plants survive with my dogs. I’d like to put it in front. But then I won’t be able to go get any herbs I want. I love basil and chives the most. I make a wonderful chip dip with freeze dried chives. My family loves it. And I haven’t made it for quite a while. We’re going to a baby shower this weekend. Maybe I will make it and take it there. The only problem is, it’s at my daughter’s house and I usually don’t get any containers back from her. It’s great with chips or pretzels. Love all your plants. I need some.

Hi Tiffany, lovin’ the herb garden, the antique pots are really nice & aged … I learned a couple years ago if you cut the vinca right back to dirt level at the end of growing season it will come back next year and the second year it gets cute little purple flowers too, doesn’t come back a third year though … Happy gardening !

Hi Tiffany! Trying to be helpful here. For the amount of plants you have you could spread those out into 3 stacked containers like you have there. The basil alone could fill one single container as it grows. If you could spread them out (deck rail planters would work, too!) a bit more they won't crowd each other out. Also...I think you should link to some of your outfits. The blue dress is lovely on you!

If you had put an upside down pot in the bottom tub, you would save on compost, as well as not worry that it will shift as it compacts.

It's so funny I'm watching your video and earlier today I planted vegetables in an old square galvanized tub I have. Mine's not as pretty as yours, but I'm thinking one of my old chicken waterers would look great planted like yours.

The mint will over come and strangle the other plants. If it gets into your lawn your grass will be all mint. It’s an invasive plant, and needs to be on its own.
