I don't mind Neuv and Arlecchino getting so much love from MHY. I do mind how selective they are; it seems they are entirely fine with leaving some characters absolutely ass, while others get everything.

The hero's journey started with the first beta video and how (relatively) underwhelming she felt at the time, and after all the reworking nightmare, it finally culminated into this. God bless.

Arlecchino is the true speedrunning character in genshin. She benefits from fast clears, and since her highest dps teams don't include a shielder or a healer, the longer you stay in battle the higher chance she dies. I love it

People arguing which better. But for me who use both of them in abyss it doesn't matter. Both of them are broken at C0.

A character that trades durability for offense, like tgs said - for me it's legit some of the most fun mechanics in any game. Being a glass cannon destroying enemies while getting destroyed in return for a single misplay. But it's not even that, having a character like her makes me feel like I'm actually playing instead of just blasting everything with my neuvi or hyperbloom comp, definitely refreshing to see!

Honestly I feel like I don’t even really care anymore how good characters are in this game, the game’s old enough by now that I have the tools to deal with pretty much anything the game could possibly throw at me already. Character likeability and gameplay fun factor feels like the only things that matter when pulling for new chars these days

neuvillette vs arlecc vs hu tao this and that, casually ignoring the fact that lyney got a high damage ceilling too, also even though he doesn't have resistance to interruption on his constellations, every single one of it is so good. just because lyney needs to be played properly than the rest of them that doesn't mean you gotta get him out of the equation

If anyone didn't notice. The current Abyss buff is basically a 60% buff to Normal and Charge Attacks if you're using any anemo unit to trigger any swirl reaction. So yes, The dmg inside the abyss is inflated. So before pulling you might want to consider what will happen if the abyss buff doesn't favor her kit. You also need to understand that her c0 has no resistance to interruption. Which means you need to run her with a shielder if you have skill issues. This compromises your dps in exchange of comfort. The main point here is that; - She might "currently" deal amazing damage - Need to dodge/i-frame for maximum dps if you don't have a shielder / C1 - Reduce her dps potential by adding a shielder in exchange for comfort - You will most likely waste your time trying to find that perfect no hit, maximum dps run while Neuv and hu tao mains are already done w/ the abyss so they're busy doing resinless behavior in someones teapot. Pick your poison.

I've seen more people talk about Neuvillette stans complaining than actual Neuvi stans lol. Hu Tao mains are the only ones upset from what I can tell.

I had been playing with a Chevreuse comp and not because it's the best but because it's quite a bit of fun. I've only got c0 for Chevreuse but not like I can do anything about that. I have a c2 Raiden, c4 Dehya and then c0 Chevreuse. I wound up getting Arlecchino to c4 and with a copy of her weapon. Since I have c2 all I really need to do is proc an overload and then I can go straight into attack spam. For having meh artifacts I am still doing some pretty decent damage. I used all of my resin resets on leveling her up so farming the new artifact set is going slow and I have had some tragic rolls. She is a pretty fun unit to play and stuff is dying pretty quickly even though I need a lot of work on my artifacts. I do feel that when you said you liked her too much. I was only needing two cons and I wound up buying the 100 dollar top up pack. The first time I ever topped up in a bad plan to get more cons. Got a 5 star pull but failed the 50/50 only to get Tighnari. I will likely never forgive him :D 100 dollars for a character I don't even use. Just two more cons is all I need and wont happen until some rerun banner some months down the road. In the end what a pull session the time she came out. 350 pulls and I got c4 and her weapon. I didn't think I would even make it to c2 tbh. I'm not complaining but I can still be mad about spending a hundred dollars and doing so poorly. O_o

8:42 hold on elegy and freedom buff do not stack its written in their description. You can only use 1 weapon from that weapon series.

Zhongli in other team is a dps loss but for neuvi there no better option for him now if there a new buffer or xiangling 5 star his team dps will be increase

So a complex question here: Running arle c2 with Yelan C6, Xingqiu c6 and either Benny c6 or kaz c1. Which out of the latter 2 would make the rotation smoother? As due to Yelan being c6 she needs to be on field for a few more seconds for her nuke, by the time that’s done, Benny has his burst down and E there isn’t much time left of Yelans and Xings burst so much less vapes. What would a good rotation be?

Hi TGS i was wondering if a team composed of arlechino (with atk% sand) ganyu (for her ult only for cryo application) layla for shielding and cryo applicator) and kaxuha would work? I think arlechino like may pyro units are missing out because of the lack of existence of a cryo xingqiu.

Just for me, i only roll for dps char that can be useful to my acc in a long term. So i always roll for sp first then get dps on their first rerun if that char can still be strong after time not temporary

Personally I think she’s the 2nd best dps in the game after Neuvilette and I find her more fun so I pushed to C2R1 and have no regrets. Insane character. Better than Neuvilette? Absolutely not. He just has too many things going for him all at once.

Both are strong asf and I have both at high investment but people also are forgetting that Arlecchino has much more supports already rn that she can use as she's an atk scaler and does normals attacks (can be buffed by Yelan + elegy) while Neuvillette only has Furina and Kazuha (who can't even use elegy since Neuvillette is an HP scaler) which puts him in a slight disadvantage and even so, he can still compete toe-to-toe to Arlecchino.

She requires a higher skill level to use, but also has a higher damage ceiling. She's like Lyney, high risk high reward. She can dish out insane damage, but one misstep and you're done.

I am SO grateful that Arle is ridiculously strong because she dies so easily, lol. I have her signature (for the drip) but I'm pretty sure I could clear Abyss even using something like White Tassel. I plan to get Xianyun on a rerun and try to run her in a Plunge/Vape team. The thing about Arlecchino is, at C0, there's nothing in her kit that necessarily incentivizes her to use her NAs exclusively aside from her Bond of Life buff, and that buff gets smaller the more NAs you use (nothing else causes it to go down). Her Signature's damage buffs are all universal, her artifact set's damage buff is universal, so she's still receiving the full effects of most of her buffs by using plunge attacks. My plan is to alternate plunges and NAs, the latter to ensure that her BoL level is constantly changing so she can keep the buff on her artifact set active. I'm not sure if this will be her best comp necessarily, I just think it would be fun.

The literal definition of glass cannon, when hit, becomes like glass and shatter, but when doing the hits, hits like an absolute nuke really really quickly

I got her and her weapon despite being a "complex" character to play. Alhaitham was the same in the beginning but became 2nd nature in the end.

As someone with massive dyslexia I appreciate having her damage numbers spoken allowed. It’s hard for me to see the difference between 20k and 200k with everything else going on in combat, and I’m never sure if my characters are actually doing funny numbers or I’m just coping lol. Also where is the justice for Chevreuse teams 😂

I'm shocked to see her doing 100k like it was a normal day for her when the traveler barely does 1k... Playing with her feels like using a boss to fight enemies. She is THAT good.

Big thing tho. Neuvilette DPR is way higher while Arleccino DPR is actually pretty low. If we get an abyss with a lot of waves, she will feel a lot worse than him.

I’m curious about a C6 Diona Sucrose Bennett and Arlecchino Comp. I have a C2 Kazuha so I might use him over Sucrose.

No lol. She has damage loss over time and requires certain teammates. 1 or 2 instances of more damage does not make her better then Neuvillette. He has a better kit in general. Neuvillette has a few good ftp weapon options, and is op at C0 and C1. Where she really needs more cons…Arlecchino may be second, though my Alhaitham is very good too. So far I like her a lot… but better than Neuvillette, not on a number of things. So no, she is second best.

I also don't see enough people talking about the range of her skill. You push her skill and every enemy in a tri-state area gets tagged with Pyro and blood debt.

The moment Arle gets everything that Neuv has (almost infinite AOE, 40k HP, insane self sustain, huge attack range, being hydro, MH user, penetrating shields and so on), and also more damage, I will admit she is better. Before it happens, I’m sorry it’s just coping. Be happy that Arle came out very strong, don’t try to make her who she is not supposed to be. She doesn’t have to be N1, she’s great and that’s enough

I prefer comfort. Also only hard thing abt her playstyle is her survivability without a shielder. Yea even if arle competes with neuv, i'm playing her in ST. Also i'm biased for neuvi but I want him to have the best dmg, so can't rlly give kazuha to her. Also idc how good her vape is, it feels bad. I'm having more fun with overload.

She is not the best nor comfortable to play, not being able to heal without her ult will mess up a lot of rotations and might result in her dying too. Hu Tao still good if not great and her with Xianyun and Furina just makes aoe a joke as her aoe plunge can hit harder then father's 1st auto. If you like her then pull, but remember that Natlan is coming and so is Pyro Archon. Arle is just being hyped for now, Pyro Archon however will be another story.

Neuvilette is still the best dps because he has HP, auto heals himself and his laser is just the most broken thing in the game, although the laser gameplay can get boring after a while But arlecchino is close 2nd for sure, no denying that. Spamming normal attacks is easy and she doesn't care if she gets interrupted and can swap anytime it is needed. The fact that she is squishier is the only reason why she is a little bit behind neuvilette otherwise it's equal Both are BiS in their element

I do love her but unfortunately, I can't actually play her in her strongest teams so I will never reach that high ceiling. I don't have a great reaction time so timing things right and setting things up properly and also not dying in the process is... Impossible for me. Teams like hyperbloom or my Scara team (with a shielder) are just a lot more consistent for me. But even so, Arlecchino is definitely a lot of fun for me and that's the most important part!

I'm getting 160-170k vapes with white tassel an her talent are still level 8 😂😂 , i was considering pulling for her weapon if I find her performance lacking with f2p weapon , but honestly she's broken even for f2p , so I'll save my primos

I thinks shes the best mechanically tied to Neuviltte, thanks to her being able to just keep her Infusion. Like a lot of DPS doesn't give you a lot of error time, Like pyro DPS wise the highest ceiling is Liney but you have to play him perfectly every time to squeeze into that high DPS which Arlecchino deosn't need to at all. My problem with numbers in the game is there's too much hypothetical situation and its very dependent on individual account (artifacts, cons, weapon, abyss buff) which is very hard to be objective about especially in a gacha game, that's why I think the fairest way to compare DPS is by their mechanic in Game. Which I have to say Arlecchino is up there with Neuvilette and Alhaitham, and if we have to crown the best I think Neuvi won because of how stupidly easy he is(super tanky hp scaler that can easily heal and you just need to do E/Q>Hold CA). But personally I like Arle playstyles so much especially with the frontloaded dmg, one of the free-est rotation, and all around cool character shes just perfect in my opinion.
