With Piccolo getting a new power up since the Android Saga, Gohan fully wearing Piccolo's gi again since the Android Saga, the R&R Army is back with two new Androids, and with Frieza, Broly, and Bardock coming back in different movies it would make a lot of sense to bring Cell back plus he would appeals to Old DBZ Fan, because they know we love nostalgic.

Good to see this channel is still up an running, and tbh I think it's going to be a character that looks like cell but it's not cell.

Oh wow, there's a lot to unpack here. I have been CRAVING Cell lately. It may seem cheap and lame to bring him back just like Frieza, but Perfect Cell's charisma is unique enough from Frieza that I really do want him back in Dragonball. Given this film is already making Gohan have to step up, Cell would certainly be one hell of a whetstone to test him against lol. This could be an amazing surprise. There's a surprising amount of evidence. I'd even be down for the Cell 2.0 idea! As long as he keeps the same personality. Android 21 actually sounds pretty likely too, given the Red Ribbon Army is involved. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see her be made canon in Super!! That all said, I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing... I feel Gamma 3 or some other random monster is probably the most likely possibility unfortunately. Boring but safe. I feel like this movie is going for a simple self-contained story, not a breakthrough developement like Battle of Gods or Super: Broly. I'd love to be wrong though.

Not only are there a lot of clues/indications Cell could return (you mentioned them all except that the numbers in that shot of the pod translate into the colors green and purple; Cell's colors), I want him to return. At some point in the future, I want Cooler, Janemba, and Turles (redesigned not to look like Goku and I'd love for him to serve in Cooler's elite squad/Ginyu Force equivalent) to become canon. Having all of those characters in universe 7 would be awesome. I don't think Baby will become rebooted and canonized, but him and the shadow dragons are the only other characters I'd be cool with.
