Ward says Beterbiev is a lot better "skillfully" than people give him credit for, whilst Kellerman calls him a "beast." The pair also discuss Canelo Alvarez's potential next opponent with Ward hoping he decides to give Great Britain's Billy Joe Saunders a shot at the title.

Kovalev dropped ward first fight and got robbed, Ward retired when he did for a reason, he's only 35 years old same age as artur beterbiev, idk if he could compete with super middle or light heavy weight class,

David Salas beterbiev doesn’t have the miles on him, he’s got like 15 fights and didn’t do a 8 week turnaround for a payday. He’s stronger and has more heart than kovalev as well

difficult to compare each person at the same age. Beterviev is tireless in the gym and in the ring at 37 years old... I never see him out of gas in the ring and I 'am not seen him slowing down yet. The further the fight goes, the faster he goes. He has a spartan lifestyle.

Ward hating hard here, Canelo has a resume that Ward could only have dreamed of at age 29 I am disappointed that they did not mention that both Billy Joe and Callum Smith rejected Canelo fight offers recently. Putting Canelo at 175 is a huge disadvantage for Cinnamon.

@@SnD340 I know, Usyk's style is more suited to the pro game since he likes to take time in the early rounds to analyze his opponent and his punch output increases as the rounds go on. My point was that Beterbiev hits like a truck, since he dropped Usyk who has a great chin, and is also clearly a bigger man.

A.Ward definitely needs to work on his neutrality stance when reporting on Boxing. He comes off very distasteful towards Canelo, but Max put him in his place. Boxing is a business and Canelo is in the driver's seat. Anytime Max K. Is talking about boxing I'll stop and listen. 👏👏

Ward has a point. But he is hardly one to talk when he ducked Stevenson and ran to retirement. Could have unified the division and become undisputed after beating Kovalev in the rematch, but ran away. A shame too because the Badoo Jack fight showed that Stevenson was actually shot at the time and Andre actually looked way better in the rematch like he had regained his true form eventually after all those years out.

I mean...if we are being real...Ward struggled to separate skill-wise from most good fighters he fought as well...and he was fortunate to fight almost exclusively in Oakland in his backyard...he was a tough smart fighter but protected. Canelo is protected as well..but Ward talking about it is rich...Canelo's win over Kov was at least clear as opposed to Dre's clear loss in fight 1 and then the unfortunate controversy in fight 2

betterbiev knows angles. notice he always is set in the clinches to catch the opponent right over the ear. also , in the clinches , he is too strong for other fighters to hold him off. if a fighter tries to tie him up, he jacks them with short powerful left uppercuts. the man uses a 100 lb. dumbell in each hand doing bench presses in his training workout.pushing up with one , then the other. unless someone gets a lucky shot on him, he will be champ for a long time.

Canelo is a beast. Andre and other boxing pundits are always talking about Canelo’s opponents. I don’t think there js a fighter in Canelo’s weight classes that can challange Canelo and drop Canelo. Maybe the one to do that will be betterbiev because of his size and it’ll be an interesting fight because of their styles.

First of all Andre Ward was a very small LHW. If he don't want to figth anymore after kovalev in that division. That doesn't take anything away from his greatness because Ward beat everybody in his own division, Period. He prove anybody can beat him in the SM division.

The media calls Beterbiev "beast" and "not human" and all that nonsense taking away his talent, skill, technique, defense, which is extremely superior. The guy doesnt get hit, but hits clean shots in close range.

Canelo would get Murdered by Beterbiev. You ain’t stopping that relentless heavy puncher. Plus Beterbiev is an underrated boxer. He knows distance and timing VERY VERY WELL. Which is a problem for anybody going against him.

We can say hating all we want but two things can be true! Yeah Ward sounds bitter but there’s truth to what he’s saying. Canelo has been strategic and been in some close fights. But Ward shouldn’t be talking since he got dropped and most people think he lost to Kov.

The Kovalev that fought Ward was not the Kovalev that fought Canelo. I thought Kovalev won the first fight against Ward so I don't have a bias to any of these guys Ward told the truth about Canelo he's a fighter he knows more than we do

Brian Romero Na that’s facts. Ward fought the Kov no one wanted trouble with. Canelo fought the washed up one that still had some left in the tank. I like Ward, & he’s one of my favorite guys to listen to so I agree with him and what he’s saying bout Canelo. I was just saying my piece in response to people calling Ward bitter, cause even if he sounds bitter he not lying.
