As soon as joe try to hit him, arthur close the distances and caught him for 3 times until the k.o. skills is not about head movement just like canelo being slick with his punches and head movement. Arthur is a direct with his intentions. Why would u need all of that if u can timing the movements and punches from your enemies. Many boxers like to make it entertaining and so skillful when they fight. While arthur is direct and make is simple. And he did made joe like an amateur.

Beterbiev stops Bivol!! I was completely sold on Bivol beating Beterbiev after the Canelo & Zurdo fights. But after his performance against Lyndon Arthur, I now feel his power isn’t enough to stop Beterbiev from coming forward, he’s vulnerable to the body & lacks the angles of attack that Beterbiev is a master of.

Interesting how people can’t seem to give Artur his due. Much better boxer than he’s given credit for. Legitimately dismantled Joe in under two rounds and the guy is standing there saying Bivol was the tougher fight. Gimme a break. These guys can’t handle being broken by another boxer the way Beterbiev does it. Gvozdyk did the same thing. Been scared of Artur since junior days and pretends he wasn’t scared af during their fight and got wrecked. Keep saying Artur isn’t a ‘good boxer’ lol. Im a huge Bivol fan too btw. Him and Beterbiev might be my two favorite boxers.

Fighters have to stop trying to use this "He punched me behind the ear" as an excuse. We all know what happens when you get hit there so as a professional fighter you're expected to keep your hands up/ hold the phone, move your head and defend from getting hit in places you can't recover from. Especially when you're facing a big puncher

@@vince11harris 😂 you googled it and type the first thing that came up which is from law.lis.virgina.gov 😂 different states have different rules but if you go to ASSOCIATION OF BOXING COMMISSIONS UNIFIED RULES OF BOXING 's website you will find no such rule it only states punching behind the head, the back, and the back of the neck

I follow this guy since he decide to move in Montréal around 2012 and Artur became my favorite boxer since. Better be very serious Beterbiev cause the next 2 fights, the ennemies are good. Bivol by decision..His iq is of the charts, better foot work and a master at making people miss and countering. On the flip side Beterbiev would definitely be the best challenge .

@Randomhandlename only casuals focus so much on power and lack understanding of the nuances of the sweet science. Bivol is a master at distance control footwork one of the best defenses in all of boxing great handspeed and conditioning to throw combination of punches for all 12 rds w/o tiring. He will beat beterbiev and win fairly easily imo.

People gonna be confused when Bivol pulls out any easy 12 round decision like he did against Canelo. Beterbiev beats you with accumulative destruction....He will not be able to accumulate destruction against Bivol. When that plan fails he will be left with nothing but to box Bivol and we all know how that's gonna turn out. Bivol by decision. When Beterbiev realizes he is loosing every round, he may get desperate at which point he may get reckless and I wouldn't be surprised if Bivol knocks him down in the later rounds.

When they get hammered and embarrassed they always drop "I had a lot of problems leading up to the fight". Beterbiev would've hit him at one point, and he was going to go. He could've had the perfect camp, be in the best shape ever. His chin would've been hit at some point and the problems before the fight wouldn't have changed his ability to withstand that power. Smith had the wrong strategy with beterbiev, not that he'd win either way.... But went after the excellent inside fighter with aggression and beterbiev turned it on him! Now with smiths power, he should have made beterbiev pay everytime he came in. He probably would hurt him a few times and he would have still adapted and beat him, because smith isn't much of a boxer.....

These are both great fighters but with very different talents. Personally, I think Bivol is the better boxer and has a better inate ability to handle exchanges, but the issue will be... does he have the power to cause Beterbiev to slow down his typical approach of relentless inevitable assault.... I don't think so, but I do think Beterbiev has an important flaw in his style and that is that he needs to reset after exchanges or attempted exchanges....this is where he will be very vulnerable to Bivol....Bivol has a very high fighting IQ and always attacks in the in-between flows of a fight....and since Bivol is a great defensive fighter he will get many of these opportunities. Beterbiev has never fought someone of Bivo'ls ability....they both have no fear.... but for different reasons....Beterbiev has just walked through everyone without a real test....but Bivol fights' knowing' he is the better fighter...he has been tested ... It will be a great fight... btw... I've fight fan for over 60 years.

Beterbiev will take bivol to school. Beterbiev doesn’t move backward, always moving forward regardless of bloody fight or not. Bivol has to manhandle Beterbiev, otherwise he will get manhandled. I think beterbiev will stop bivol in 6-7 rounds.smith didn’t remember how punishment he took from Beterbiev. If they didn’t stop the fight he would’ve been knocked out for sure.
