In this video, I cover the new unreleased "GD Neural" mod, and talk about whether it could potentially ruin Geometry Dash's creating scene. From an unbiased perspective (until the end where I give my personal thoughts), I cover what exactly it does and dispel common misconceptions surrounding it, and discuss AI's place in the editor.

imagine someone actually putting in the work of making an actual complete level generator based on a bunch of prompts and maybe a layout

@@ThePastaNebula it is definitely possible if you feed it with thousands of levels, tell the ai what prompts the level correlate to and then train the ai by giving feedback. i just think that its gonna need years for it to bring sensible levels because gd levels are abstract data for an ai, unless we somehow teach what the level data means

phew, I was a bit concerned at first when I heard about this and thought it would put the game in danger, but seeing as the creators don't want that, I'm a lot less concerned

usually I think that AI can be used anywhere as an aid provided it does not 100% replace the work of the artist, I find that people are too "purist" on the edges and are terrified by it evolution of the discipline, but for geometry dash, I am against it because gd is a game and the editor was set up for fun like playing levels from all over the world and part for the custom assets I think that AI defeats the purpose of geometry dash and a game in general. I also find the community's arguments against it totally stupid and irrational.

I honestly think that the ai will be used as a good thing: it just helps the creator to make what they want to. the creativity is still there and I think that's the way it should be
