Absoluteley on point man! This was just too hastey and it seemed that the right post-race interview/announcement procedure(s) weren’t in place at all. Big blooper of the FIA.

@ColtThrottle right?! It was completely rushed! I get that the penalty was given after the race concluded, but I think a better way for it to have handled would have been to take a few more moments to get it all together, sync with the drivers and team principals, then come out and a do an official announcement.

It's a live event, things happened in the very last turn, time was running out, it's all a bit unfortunate as far as timing is concerned but yeah, they had to improvise. A weird thing however was that F1 displayed full points the entire race as it should by the rules (rule 6.5?), but none of the reporters, commentators and racingteams seemed to be aware if this rule..🤔

@Wuppie62 yeah, that is a bit odd. I will admit that I didn't even notice that myself. I definitely respect your perspective and I understand that time was running out, it just seems really odd to me that the decision to announce Max as champ was done when it was. Maybe there wasn't a better time, but I think since other measures were put in place ahead of time for Max to win, that maybe the impromptu announcement could have been done a bit differently.
