I did my "pretend gopnik" thing in the late 90s/early 00s--when there were still lots of real ones around. Beer was drunk from 2-liter bottles, using a plastic cup to drink it. Doing the squat with your heels on the ground is a challenge--I guess it helps if you start in childhood. As he said, "Heels on ground, comrade found. Heels in sky, western spy."

In Belarus the joke is every 3rd person is a conscript or a policeman, they all have to do national service. The guys in uniform probably had no more interest being a soldier than their Babushka has. I agree. Mr Bald on fire with these eastern European videos. I wonder how he learnt Russian language. Really enjoyable, entertaining vlogs of this series in Eastern European countries.
