Most people in Las Vegas bet with chips, but Danny “The Count” Koker bets with cars. This Sin City legend walks, talks and breathes cars and bikes. When he sees a car he wants, he will do whatever it takes to get his hands on it-including making on-the-spot cash offers to unsuspecting owners. On the HISTORY series Counting Cars, Danny and his team restore, customize and sell cars in a hurry, scrambling to keep their Las Vegas shop in the black. From classics to exotics, from hotrods to choppers, Danny and the crew of Count’s Kustoms will stop at nothing to find and flip the greatest rides of all time.

In the episode that shows an early Corvette ( red one ) danny says they didn't sell well because they only had a 6 cylinder engine. Well a 6 cylinder engine isn't the problem, its down to whoever tuned the things , Because e-type jags had 6 cylinder engines and the series 1 did 150 mph and was the fastest production car at the time . The lightweight version was even faster . Most mass production big v8 engine yank cars didn't have much more than 100hp . Carroll Shelby used a light bodied English sports car ( the AC ) and put a tuned up V8 in it & it was a beast of a motor the AC Cobra.

@@modulusquantum6455 It is owner's choice bud. That's what I'm saying. But if you're buying up cars simply because the value is going up or mecums or bonhams are appraising them at ridiculous prices then you shouldn't be into cars. Those people ruin the markets. No one cared about the early porsche 911's for a good while until a sudden heatwave of hype emerges and shoots the car's value to the point where your everyday guy can't afford it. Cars are cars. Not museum pieces *under special circumstance of course*
