I got this exact version of 'Mr. Jones' off Napster in 2000, it was called "Mr. Jones (Very Cool Acoustic Version). The title lived up to its billing. Ahhhh, college. Living on campus, with a highspeed connection in the year 2000 was absolutely brilliant. The internet was a new frontier then, free and unregulated.

Sure was man, except I was in 9th grade during that time, having already accumulated 5+ years in constant internet in my daily life, a rarity for kids in those days. I remember I used a “proggie” on AOL to punt my friend Mike offline and he cried afterwards.

As grey is one of my favorite colors too and i have a bit of spanish blood in me and i also wanted to be a lion when i was so little, that doesn't make me love this song so much. It's his powerful voice and i don't know what else but i love it so much i can't explain. Counting crows rocks!
