I'd also recommend creating a tag for any Pokémon you'll use in a gym and name it 'Gym". Then you can just type 'gym' into the search bar when placing a Pokemon in the gym, and all of those with that tag will be the search result. HUGE timesaver.

I name al my Gym-pokemon starting with 1g. That way, when sorted on alphabetical order, they are first on the list.

Switching out right away in rocket battles stuns them for a bit and gives you free attacks. So, the pokemon you want to start with should always be second or third for those. After charged attacks they're stunned for a bit too.

It's more refined in terms of player base since it first launched, but you will find that people who still play are very dedicated. You can also be pleasantly surprised every now and then that some friends and family still play.

For a little more Stardust, make sure your streak bonus, first catch of the day pokemon is a second level, like dragonair or wartirtle

Just a word of wisdom for the pokémon renaming trick. Save that trick for the Eeveelutions that are random like Flareon, Jolteon and Leafeon to evolve your shinies. I used that trick early on to get the dex entries, and kick myself because I don’t have a Flareon shiny yet.

I did the SAME THING, but I did have ONE 100% IV Eevee that I caught in 2016 and made it rainer and got a 💯 vaporeon and BACK THEN it used to WRECK SHIT!!!! Then I stopped playing from like 2019 and picked it back up in 2022. Only to find out my level 35 100% IV vaporeon is kinda SHIT now.... But hey I've got it still and it's light my 5th highest CP pokémon

To get an IV %age simply multiply the total score by 2.2. Name key pokemon such as your go to gym defenders or the pokemon you wish to invest rare candies/stardust into. Set yourself an item limit. I personally prefer to stick with a maximum of 75 of each heal item and berry and 0 nanabs. 3 evolution items. By doing this I've got more space for balls. Take note of events. Especially when hatching eggs, look for ½ or ¼ hatch distance before filling your incubators with 10 and 12km eggs. Also, monitor these eggs and drop a lucky egg and star piece within 1km to really capitalise on them. It's also worth saving some transfers until spotlight hours offering extra candies. Only use 3 use incubators for 10 and 12km eggs, might as well get the most use from them and the infinite incubator can be used to clear some 2km and 5km eggs. If you and your mates plan to hit a raid and have a few minutes before the egg pops, take the gym. Organise yourselves so you attack in waves. This prevents the defender from getting a berry in. You then get the gym defender bonus. ALWAYS pinap a shiny gym boss. It's a 100% catch. Get those extra candies.

Remember to turn AR+ off when quickly catching pokemon with the AR method. AR+ slows everything down tremendously

When doing the 2x XP or any bonus evolution events save a search string for all pokemon that have free trade marker after trading and also save weedles, caterpies, pidgeys, wurmples, whismurs and pidoves which are 12 candy evolutions

Pro tip: The first <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="106">1:46</a> of your video don’t need to be there. Plus, you repeat the information like we didn’t just hear what you said before the intro. If you’re assuming we’re skipping the intro, assume we skipped the entire intro. Also, if you know a large part of your upload is getting skipped anyway, why not trim it off entirely? Just a thought that might help your channel grow

Meltan excellent throws are really easy when you actually practice a lot, use those free mystery boxes, throw on two lucky eggs especially on a Monday! Also transfer your extra shiny from community days into home. People always want them for trades or you can use them in other Pokémon games like violet.

Tip: I regularly get 1-2 million XP from a lucky egg every week. This is done through the friend invite and gifting system. I make 40 new friends each week, send 100 gifts a day, and each week it translates to a lot XP. I got 3 million XP once from all the best and ultra friends I'd had one time even!

Yes they are. They are very few of them. I stopped playing 3 years ago when i got pregnant and started again in September. I live in Florida and since it had been so long since i played the first thing i looked up was current nest locations and spawns .. Lol apparently they got rid of majority of them a while ago but with living im Florida they kept a spawn 2 miles from me. Lake eva park in haines City fl. I went there and it was a dang rat nest at the time and i said of course and laughed. I believe i seen the list on Wikipedia and for the Florida nests the kept uts true. I dont know about other states.

They are definitely a thing. Yesterday, I was staying at a friends house and opened up Pokémon Go and there were 4-5 Pikachus on my screen. And that was in a ”suburban” area in Sweden, so they’re definitely there you just gotta be lucky

Use star piece while season change if you u rank is 20 it would give you 90,000 star dust but with star piece it would give 1,80,000

I don't know if you had the capability whenever you made this video however now you can change out normal candies for XL candy and at least in the animation that you did while you were talking about it you powered it up over 200 candies worth so you would be able to get two XL candies for that amount plus some towards another XL candy.

Just walk 100km/week! That's only more than 14km per day. The avg person walks 5km/hr so you need to spend about 3 hours walking every day. 🙃

candy trick. if you have two accounts, or a friend close by, and you want/need more candy. you need to trade to get 2 candy for the trade, then 1 candy for the transfer. I have two accounts. example; I will trade a machop for a machop. so each account gets 2 candy for the trade, then after that you transfer the pokemon for a third candy.

The Dragon type is covered by Glaceon and Sylveon. The Electric type is covered by Leafeon. The Fairy type is covered by Flareon. The Fighting type is covered by Espeon and Sylveon. The Fire type is covered by Vaporeon. The Flying type is covered by Glaceon and Jolteon. The Ghost type is covered by Umbreon. The Grass type is covered by Flareon and Glaceon. You can also type the region that pokemon is from or type out the first and or second letter of the Pokémon's name

Pokemon such as caterpie only cost 12 candies to evolve. I always use a pinap to catch them to have plenty of candies on hand and never transfer them when I need to get rid of junk pokemon so that I can evolve a whole crapload of caterpie all one after another in a single run.....pop a lucky egg for maximum exp and get 2000 per evolve...depending on how many you can evolve in the time period a lucky egg lasts, the exp can really add up....

Can only use each name once. Afterwards it's random for original 3 eeveelutions, and the others have a walking requirement, then depends when you evolve them, but after you hit the walking distance, it'll show a silhouette.

Depends on where you live. There are groups out there. And on Wednesday each week they have raid hour. We go to downtown where we live. There are 25 to 30 people playing pokemon go.

Important: Your search string has a fundamental flaw in it, which means you will be surely throwing away 3* Pokémon. You have missed the * off the ‘3*’. ‘age0&4*&!3’ will mean 3* Pokémon except Pokémon number 3 will be discarded!

The search string in the video is "age0&!4*&!3". This search will include pokemon with high IV's between 3 and 4 star as the last part "@!3" only excludes a hard 3 rating not any rating between 3 tand4. So a 98% IV will be included in the search. Very bad and definitely not intended! The wild card on the exclude is super important in this case! Use this instead to weed out anything below a 3 rating. "age0&!4*&!3*".

Catch everything!!! There's no special trick unless you look at a pokemap online for your city that shows the hundos... I catch everything always and sometime if I am lucky I will get more than 1 4* a week, but I am not that lucky mostly lol.

I’m new to the game but I just hit my 2000 caught mark and haven’t seen a perfect yet at all. Is it that rare or am I just that new. Lvl 30 now.

@@chasexchaos9392 it's pretty rare, I play a lot. I catch hundreds a day. Sometimes I get one 4* a week sometimes more than one... But sometimes it's like one of two a month... Best of luck

My entire town has 12 pokestops. I have to walk 3 miles just to get about 20 pokeballs. Also, there's only one other Instinct in the area that I know of so I'm always getting tossed by Valor & Mystic. Small town pain :(

If you don't have a group to battle mega raids then.....When you get to a certain level you can sometimes get them through the pvp battle league or from a story line battling "the boss" (I don't remember his name)

There are websites that have friend codes to friend people from around the world. Have as many as you can because you might be invited to do a remote raid and win a Pokémon that can’t even be found in your own country. That’s how I got my MewTwo 🥰😉 If my item bag is full, I buddy up and feed many different Pokémon. Might as well. But if we’re going out all over town running errands or something and my item bag keeps on getting full, I’ll delete potions or pokéballs so that I can continue to spin pokéstops. M favorite thing about the game is hatching eggs. So for me it makes sense to do whatever I can to try to get more eggs and more incubators.

Im level 47, 1.3 million XP from lvl 48 I have 820 shinies or so.. I havent seen a wild or raid shiny, in 23 DAYS. 90 shiny possible raids, zero shinies... Over 3 weeks. Im more than offended.

It’s like a clue to know if the opponent’s attack is going to hurt our Pokémon more or less. It’s in the game when you fight.
