The Russian Empire lasted for a long time and even in 1914, it still had Poland, Finland, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, ( whatever the other countries name is I forgot), Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and some of the Ottoman Empire.

It includes some parts of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Burma (Brahmdesh), Thailand, cambodia(Kamboj), Laos, Malaysia (Malaydesh) Indonesia(Java & sumatra) and Sri lanka (Simhal Dvip). All these countries used to be one and united "Bharat varsh"

France & Germany: I don't think that territories that these nations conquered in war, but only held for a couple of months should really be counted as part of the country. France should better be compared to the Frankish Empire, and Germany to the Holy Roman Empire.
