I was never a fan of country music until I got broken up with. Then my girlfriend left me for my best friend. I found God and I found country music. I know exactly what he means when he says you’ll find one song that sounds like it was written just for you. For me it’s Eric Church’s Springsteen. After my first kiss with her, I heard Dancing in the Dark on the radio. Now, every time I hear Bruce Springsteen I think of her. It’s painful, but it’s nice to have things like God, and music, and friends and family to get through it day by day. I’m still not over it, but I’m still fighting. Anyone reading this going through a breakup, stay strong. It doesn’t go away, at least not anytime soon, but you can certainly overcome it ❤

I've always been a huge fan of country music. Country songs are about life, fun, happiness and sadness but it's much more than that. I was raised on the late 80's to mid 90's country music. That's my favorite!!! I also really enjoy the older stuff. Some of the new country gets way too poppy for me. Country music is my favorite music by far, especially because of the breakup songs!!!!

Best thing about Country in these situations, are there are a ton of breakup, divorce, and I screwed up songs to vent with. Cry with. And just vibe with. Let the music be the catalyst for the emotional dam break. In Fluffy’s case, he knows where and how he made his mistakes, and owning them is how he will get /got through and be the better person then his past self. Correct what you can, learn from it and from what can’t be fixed.
