I've heard of Benjamin Todd. I've never heard of Wynn Varble.

It bother him because he IS. A real artist. A real musician. And he is the one artist that has gotten me through some tough times.

I mean....as cocky as Ben is being, he isn’t wrong. He has brought back that old bluegrass/country that comes from the heart. Albeit, he didn’t do it on his own, ofc there are other artists who helped but him and the Lost Dog Street Band are a huge factor in the resurgence of this kinda music.

Ben started as a punk, is a punk rocker by nature, and to this day is more punk than me or any punk rocker i know!

I think it was the other way around... The "country singer" was running his mouth to LDSB, and Ben stood up for himself. Ben is an amazing songwriter and lyricist, and has definitely made his own path. He didn't say anything that was a lie to the guy.

I have no idea who this supposed country star is so that tells you how little of his career he had, whereas Benjamin Todd has written some of the best songs. Using again is a song that I listen to time and time again

He could've left out the endless string of profanity and self-aggrandizement out of it and if he was in this situation today he probably would have, but he's not wrong. Very few musicians today have the talent and cultural relevance that Benjamin Tod has and Wynn Varble, whoever TF that is, is still choking on his dust.
