Great to see Marty Stuart and his well-kept head o' hair! Anyway, I've always appreciated Charlie's music, particularly this song and "Burgers and Fries". As far as African-American country singers, there was also O.P. McClinton, but was far less known than Pride.

Charlie Pride was the only black man in country music. And I think what you are trying to say is that today's country music isn't country at all. It's a weird mixture of country, pop and rap. That's the reason I don't listen to it.
