Japan and Thailand didn't love each other in the past (1941), Japan needed support so, Thailand joined the Axis Powers and helped Japan. After becoming an ally of the Empire of Japan, Thailand retained control of its armed forces and internal affairs. Nowadays, Japan and Thailand are friends/Ally of Ww2.

I can give this 85% accurate but this showed how Thailand overcame to be Thailand this day. It's not easy for a small country to remain independent after many wars and even participated to aid other coutries during conflicts. One most important thing, this pointed tha fact that Laos and Cambodia were Thailand's territory before becoming the colony of France.

More like tributaries than territories. There was no official Siamese nation back then before the Europeans arrived. It was Ayuddhaya then Rattanakosin Kingdom, where Laos (Luangprabang, Viengchan), Cambodia and parts of Malayu were clients states of the Siamese King. Siamese boarders were drawn by the French and the Brits in the late 1800s.

My grandfather was an engineer to build a palace there in Saudi, But after Blue Diamond Affair they kick out almost all Thais from Saudi and ban Thai passport for very long time.

I’m missed on the old flag of albino elephant, King Rama the 6th changed it because our Siamese civilians at that time used the flag upside down for decorating their house, the king had passed by on his duty and saw our houses and many of us used it upside down and wrong sided, our king was unpleasant with it so he had changed it to Red White stripes then our couple of first prime minister chnged to 🇹🇭 what we see in the present. Anyway, long live Siam and best luck to Thailand, land of Freedom ❤.
