I made (canned ) my own raspberry jam, strawberry jam, strawberry banana jam, blueberry jam and apple butter. Also bread & butter pickles and even lentil soup with smoked sausage. The soup I had to high pressure can to make sure that the bacteria is killed. It’s great canning your own fruit & food!

I would love to see her cooking something maybe once a week. The reason you aren't 300lbs is because you work so hard around the house.

Well my grandma made all kinds of preserves and jams. We also churned homemade butter that we ate on homemade bread,homemade rolls and biscuits. Then we would top them with different kind of preserves and jelly and jams. Now that was some good food. As a little girl I would cut my biscuits and rolls into and would put a different kind of preserves on each piece of them and jams and jellies. Rox you make me happy your making jams and breads and glassing the eggs. My grandma did the same thing. Thank you guys for bringing back memories at a time I was a little girl. Y'all bring so much joy into my life. ❤❤❤❤❤

i have a freeze dryer. With your garden and eggs you can freeze dry for long term storage. Worth the money. Herbs are fantastic freeze dried..

Blueberry and raspberry are my favs. My mom used to make lots of jams when we lived in Canada. When we moved to Las Vegas, strawberry was about it. occasionally she'd find a deal and make other berry jams
