great job~ marty had so many songs that crossed into the pop charts, including this monster hit...i remember it so well as i was a kid in those days, just learning to play.....his western songs were so very popular with us youngsters gowin up, like el paso, big iron, and etc...he was an innovator too...being the first i recall, of country singers, to use the fuzz tone on a lead to a country song.....dont worry......back when ony the hard rockers used them. i saw him in memphis and he was the master entertainer...i think he cold have walked on water that night.....i recall he had a lead guitar player he introduced by the last name of jack pruett....whom he said was the husband of jeanne pruett..he was good...i mean real good.....marty also played a pretty darn good piano too, which he did that night......he is a hard act to follow but his son does him credit
