Here is a video of a Miroku Skeet shotgun. We believe it to be either a Miroku 3700 or Miroku 3800 12 bore shotgun.
Featuring 26" barrels and a wide rib. This Miroku shotgun also has skeet chokes.
We believe this to be a Miroku Superior Grade shotgun.
This over and under shotgun is a great gun for many different uses.
For more information on Miroku shotguns please feel free to get in touch.
Or to view our wide range of shotguns we have available please take a look through our website.

I very recently acquired a Miroku 3800S (S apparently is for silver Reciever) haven't used it yet.My previous gun being a Browning 725 and not getting on with it. They tell me at my Gunsmiths that it Dates from possibly the Mid- Eighties, Its in excellent condition and I am really looking to give it a go soon, Its a long story but apart from my venture out with a new Browning 725 a few months back I haven't been clay shooting for about twenty five years, thought I could pick up from where I left off, but very quickly found that wasn't going to happen! my only excuse apart from time not shooting was that the gun I had used all those years ago to fairly decent affect was a 30inch Winchester I think 101, being fairly short 5' 7 1/2in I shyed away from 30in Barrels this time around, maybe a big mistake, still I am soon to discover..........missed the point of my comment, please do more on Miroku shotguns. Enjoyed the video, and if I could cheekily say Winchesters too.

I got a Miroku 700 (and an Iver Johnson Champion) from my grandfather the day I got back from deployment a handful of years ago. While I was thrilled to get a couple free guns, at first I didn't think there as a whole lot to them, because they seemed simpler and more conventional than most of my collection. However thanks to this channel and others like it, I've learned that these guns in fact have some very interesting features and history if you pay attention to the details. Now whenever I see an older break action at a store or show I make sure to have a look, since I know I'll probably see something interesting.

I picked up a very similar Miroku, which came out of Sweden I think. 28" barrels full and full, white spacers on the woodwork, exact same engraving but the action has a slight purplish hue. It has sling swivels attach as per Europe no proof markings other than Japanese. Widish rib, about 1/2 inch. Same marking on the barrels but only BC Miroku on the action. All springs are V type and a Swedish installed recoil pad. Fits me super well. It's in at my smith to open the chokes to 1/4 and 1/2 as I shoot mainly sporting here in Canada. Nice to see a gun so close to mine and yes it was a bargain!

The videos you put out are very informative, I have seen most of them, but I'm sure you realise even though they take time and money to put out they are good for Business, I myself often look at your gun stock to see what price a gun is that you have recently Reviewd on one of your video's, so keep it up, you may one day become a Tax- Exile L.O.L

Great videos Tim and nice camerawork Paul. BC comes from the founders' names. From the Miroku website, it says: ""B.C." of B.C.MIROKU is derived from "Bookish" of the founding member (first president) Bukichi Miroku and "Chiyoki" of Ido Chiyoki (second president)." And according to your Miroku catalogue video, isn’t the skeet model more likely to be the 3800 (because the 3700 was under the Hunting section)? Keep em coming!

Having done some study since buying my Miroku, I think you might find that there are guns that are not marked 800 that are in fact 800 models.

Really informative Tim, I bought a new 32" Miroku 3800 trap gun back in 1981 which I thought was a grade 1 with a black action. Having watched your video I had a look at the inspection certificate which shows it is a Model 3800R. Never seen a secondhand example. Only fired 500 rounds then bought Grade 3 in 1982 which has had thousands of rounds through it and is still new looking and does not feel worn in anyway. Have started using the 3800R on sporting targets just last week and was impressed by its handling. Considering getting it bored open to 1/4/ and 1/2 instead of full and full or should I leave it original? Still have the Miroku cloth badge that it came with! Great reliable guns
