A COUPLE have dramatically transformed their appearances into a modern day Dracula and vampire princess. Victoria Lovelace, 30, who originates from Sweden and now resides in LA, met her now-fiancé Dracul Grotesque, 36, three years ago. Victoria calls herself a magical vampire princess from Sweden and works as a Gothic and alternative model. Her partner Dracul is a multi-instrumental musician. The pair say they don’t consider themselves as real-life vampires, but their fashion styles are mainly influenced by vampires and horror movies. Victoria, who got permanent fangs a couple of years ago, told Barcroft TV: “I’ve always been obsessed with the vampire aesthetics and always dreamt of never getting old. I had also a dream of living in that magical world that you have a lot of Gothic castles, beautiful clothes, everybody would listen to nice music, people would be happy and would express themselves freely.”

Honestly, I still think this is a healthier decision than those that get numerous cosmetic surgeries to completely ruin their bodies. This is just fashion, which ages far better, and can be discarded if it doesn't work with your life anymore.

I still don't get why people call names. Here in Sweden people call me, a similar-looking person, names, take pictures of me(without asking!), throw stuff after me and even stalk me if I'm alone. I mean, I see people who's fashion choices I don't agree with too, but I don't behave like that towards them. Like, we're all people with feelings that can be hurt? Sure, I'm completely aware that it can be a bit shocking of a look to some, and I'm prepared for getting some looks, but damn, you could still behave like a decent person.

If we want to get technical, a vampire could dress as crazy as they want and nobody would even notice because nobody thinks they exist. Plus goth vampires would be a thing in a mythical world they exist in.

I agree 100%. If you study all the classic vampire films none of them look like gothic high school kids wearing way too much makeup. Bela Lugosi's vampire wore a basic tuxedo. Vampires from The Lost Boys look like typical 1980's rockers (with fangs).

These people aren't really claiming to be vampires though, if you listen to what they're saying, they basically just like this aesthetic. Now there are people who really claim to be and think they're actual vampires, they would probably find this very offensive 😂.

I just find the title incredibly cringey! Yes, vampires can dress in a Victorian/goth style. However to address this as a "vampire style" makes the title cringey!

I just love that we're reaching a point in society where people are becoming more open-minded and more open to people dressing the way they want. I'd love to get to a point where everyone feels free and comfortable expressing themselves without judgement. It's just fun! I wish I had more confidence in the way I dress on a daily basis.

I was a rocker back in my teens. Dressed in black, wore Metallica and Pantera shirts, fishnets in my arms like Marilyn Manson, and I put plastic spiders in my hair. I modified my clothes with safety pins and lace. I was an introvert, but nice to everyone. When I see them I'm reminded of my high school years. I think they make a great couple and seem like good people.
