Guys... Mary was so underweight that when police arrived to the scene, they could SEE Mary's intestines. I'm usually a very cold person but this case made me incredibly angry. How and why the Hell you starve your baby to death to the point you can see her organs? Disgusting.

I was starved as a child. It happens more than you think. I’m blessed my grandma saved me. Bless Mary’s heart. She is no longer suffering at the hands of these monsters.

The husband acted so shocked as if he was expecting a lighter sentence. This sentence is fair, a life for a life.

This short video doesn't even begin to tell of the horrors that baby truly suffered. They left her in filth, and she was covered in feces and sores. I remember hearing this story a couple of years ago, and I could not get the descriptions of her state out of my mind.😭

I remember this story. The wife would go to work everyday and the husband was left to care for the kids on their farm. They had other young daughters too. He’d be outside “working the land all day”. He’d leave her in her crib to “sleep” all day. Says he found her in the morning and called 911 but nothing about how the medical examiner says she’d been dead up to 3days bf the 911 call. Said nothing was wrong bc the baby never cried but that’s because she was so malnourished she didn’t have the strength. She weighed as much as a newborn, 8lbs, at 10mths and he went on about how his girls were naturally very skinny even though neither him nor his wife were… What the actual hell.

They aren’t crying because they killed someone, they’re crying because they got caught

I was 19 when I had my daughter, and me and her mom went days without eating sometimes just to make sure we had enough money for her food and diapers. You have to have zero love for your child to let them starve.

How do you ignore a starving baby? She had to have been CRYING ALL THE TIME.. you can’t ignore that.... babies need to be fed every 3 hours or so or an on-demand basis, they can’t go that long without food.

I have 3 children's...i did get angry at some situation but never at my child, it breaks my heart to see people dont appreciate what they have...my neighbour finally had a child after 18 years and that child grew to be a nice boy that greets everyone he sees.

All through, he seriously thought the basic rules of society didn't apply to hiim, nor did/does he think that he should be subject to the same laws as the rest of us, yet interestingly, before trial while held in prison, he repeatedly demanded medical attention - the same medical attention he denied his infant daughter. He was convicted, of course, and got the life without parole he richly deserved. Even so, that expression was "How DARE you accuse me? I am ABOVE the law."

UPDATE: The husband was convicted of Felony murder and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The Wife did a plea deal in which she entered a no-contest plea to second degree murder which would have carried a 25 year minimum sentence (because she claimed she was abused and under duress by her husband), when told that that defense would not excuse her from felony murder, a law in Michigan got changed and now pleading duress can be considered a defense in felony murder she, in May of 2020 she was allowed to take back her plea and now she she is facing 1st degree felony murder and 1st degree child abuse. Thi8s is risky for her because IF she is found guilty of felony murder she faces a Mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole. Take 25 minimum OR roll the dice and possibly get life without parole. I hope she gets the same as her husband.
