I did course careers. Currently in the discord. They never update their information. So people are still using the same exact tactics they had in 2022, now in 2024 so it doesn’t make you stand out anymore because all of the students do the same. Exact. Thing. Also, in their discord they’re constantly promoting co horts for the class to get more information and I feel as though if I’m paying $500 for a class I shouldn’t also have to pay for a co hort to get the most valuable information. Kinda wish higher levels was a thing when I bought course careers. The cold email section is great but I definitely think they could’ve done a better job in the cold calling portion

I have the exact same experience from Course Careers myself. The certificate doesn’t even stand out anymore on my LinkedIn and everyone looks and sounds the same now. I’m working to optimize my LinkedIn and detach myself from them now. Still working on landing a tech sales role as well 😓.

@@techsales-higherlevelsAhhh I see. So you mean a global company that has a branch in my country? I'm in South Africa. Not always a lot of good opportunities available here. Sales roles are generally commission only and no base. (At least this is all in my experience) So thats why I wanted to know if its possible to work for an American company but from South Africa

I've been in sales for 6 months now. Like I closed an agency client (U.S) as a freelancer! Now I want to have a job in Tech sales. Can I get into tech sales now? Like I'm from India and want to have at least a contract remote job for a U.S company
