I have been married for over 40 years but women then were different. They teased and manipulated men but fundamentally, they appreciated us and wanted to receive love and give love in return. I believe the modern woman is quite incapable of love, being tough, calculating, demanding and disappointed with every man who is available and certain that she deserves the best (and richest). We men can see this. We aren't stupid. And BTW, of course there are still happy relationships out there. The problem is that the marriage and birth rates have fallen to unbelievable lows and the percentage of single person households is approaching 50% in some cities.

Not all women think so. Depends on the man’s behavior, attitude and treatment of others. There are lots of good men out there.

@@barrysnelson4404Can agree with a lot of what you posted. I see young women these days and the attitudes and unrealistic expectations among many of them. How did their parents fail so badly. My parents raised me very well and I’m grateful for that. Been successfully married twice, first husband passed from cancer. Several years later I married a wonderful man both us us early 40s at the time. We are Gen X and definitely current generation of young adults are very different and not for the better.
