This is of the most brilliant opening statements I've seen to date. Incredibly easy to follow for jurors (especially given the complexity of the case) and flawlessly executed. I have confidence that she will help bring further justice to the victim's family.

The opening statement was spot on. They could have drop the microphone and walked away and still won. The evidence stood on itself. The defense attorney made easy money on this client.

This is almost ten years after the murder. If the killer and the ex wife just waited ten years the children would be young adults and no custody battle. Just stay put until kids are grown or old enough to say they want to stay with their mother or father. What’s so hard about that? Especially since it doesn’t seem like she was suffering at all.

The reason we're here today is because... they say family is everything. A family who commits the crime together deserves to do the time together. Wendi & Donna sent Charlie. Harvey knew all along. Charlie sent Katie. Katie sent Sigfredo. Like Dan, Sig was a father who fell for a diabolical woman but took Dan's life and is now doing life. Now, Charlie faces life in prison. The circle is almost full. Wendi, Donna, and Harvey are next. Wendi played dumb. Unlike Dan's family, none of Charlie's family members showed up to support him because Donna & Harvey planned on pleading the 5th - HIS OWN FAWKING PARENTS, mind you... Wendi only showed up to testify to try to save her own arse because all four culprits are GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY. I was SO relieved to find out the Jury got it right. They did a fabulous job. Fry in HELL Charlie. Can't WAIT for Donna's, Wendi's, and Harvey's indictment, although Harvey might get away with it.

Ooh, I remember back when this happened! Right away her brother was the lead suspect! It just took time and good investigative skills to finally hold him accountable. It's sad because there really aren't any winners! Those kids, now 13 and 14 are old enough to decide which parent they want to live with. This murder was pointless and selfish in the big scheme of things. My father meant the world to me! Those kids should have their loving father now!! Wendi did not leave the Adelson to cleave to Dan. It was a foundational issue. The custody challenge was only the last straw that shattered the unwholesome conjugal relationship. Dan's blood is crying from the ground like Abel's seeking for vengeance. The Alderson, I feel, has murdered sleep and they shall sleep no more. It would have been a win-win situation if Dan had not been murdered. R.I.P Dan and ensure all that led to your untimely death are severely punished.
