@@gags730 Instead of showing any sympathy towards the murder victim, the mother excuses her daughter for "only" hitting him with the pipe in the face and stabbing him. That is not killing, according to her because the boyfriend finished him off. So technically it's not killing. Putting a family member on as a character witness is usually a bad idea because the mother takes no accountability for her "angel's" behavior. Their child always loves animals and is a wonderful girl, who just happened to hang out with the wrong crowd.

That’s the first thing I said. I will never understand parents allowing boys to move in or their daughters to move out and in with boys. If my daughter tried moving in with a boy I would hunt her tail down with a belt. This mother is delusional to sit and keep defending this girl after knowing all of the facts and evidence. They both deserve life with no parole. If she can act like a big shot during an interrogation laughing, etc then she definitely proved to everyone that she has no remorse.

@@Kathryn-zo5hl I do not agree that violence on tv or video games have any impact on anyone being able to commit a crime like this. I sadly, binge watch crime shows and documentaries and watch Dexter on repeat and play GTA, TLOU, and other gruesome or violent games, been doing all this for the last 21 years of my life.. and it bothers me none. But if I see a broken bone or too much bleeding in person, a person or animal in pain or discomfort, or witnessing an elderly person who is passing… it messes me up and I’m emotional or I feel like passing out.. etc. TV and video games cannot be responsible for any human ( especially child ) being THIS desensitized to torturing a disabled man who was trying to help. It’s either within a person to kill or it isn’t. (( imo )) there’s evil .. there’s good. These two were evil and it fed one another’s depravity. At first she said the stepfather abused her and he was the one who killed her mother. The police wanted to arrested him at the hospital, because they manage to stabbed him few times. Thank god the police investigate it right and learned it was all the two teenagers. None of them will go to real prison. This reminds me of a case in Alberta Canada. A 13 yr old girl manipulated her older boyfriend of 19 to break into her house at night and kill the mother, father and 9yr old brother. THE RICHARDSON CASE. SHE got out at 18yrs old and went on to study at university. After reading about that case I believe she planned it and she killed the 9yr old. Her father that was killed was a school friend of mine. The way he died will never leave my mind. These child killers should get punished as adults. Period.

It’s clear the mother couldn’t control the girl, the entire time the mother was making excuses and portrayed the girl as an innocent child. She’s no longer a child. Further the mother acted as if she didn’t know he was older than 17, he looks older than 22 imo. Even so, letting him live there, bad idea, but no background investigation first. Mother also acted like she didn’t know if they were having sex😂. The mother is a big part of the problem here. I hope she feels partially responsible for this man’s death bc she is. This is probably the first time this girl has ever had to pay consequences. I don’t agree with life in prison, I think she may have a chance at rehabilitation. But she must pay a hefty price, she took a life.

She deserves to spend the rest of her life in prison. She knew what she did was wrong. Her family’s utter lack of empathy for the disabled man she contributed to killing gives some context - however it doesn’t give her a pass ….. I hope she doesn’t make parole…….

I agree with the part about allowing this guy to move in. Come on, she knew they were having sex. I don't think the mom is responsible for them killing a disabled man though. Plenty of people have horrible family lives and don't end up murderers. But I agree this girl had a disorganized family life; clearly, her mom didn't know how to control her.

Great job Vinnie and team with this horrible case, greatly explained and filmed. To me they both are guilty in the same degree. She knew perfectly well what both were doing killing that poor man. I don't understand her lawyer being so affected about her fate, she is no saint man. When young people are capable of committing this horrendous crimes, it's telling us how sick our society has become, and what an ominous future is ahead of us.

Ridiculous. Everything so ridiculous. What mother let’s her 12/13 year old have a “boyfriend” and talking in that way, “she broke up with her boyfriend”… etc. Only to move in an older male, regardless whether he was 17 or 21. Homeschools her child but letting her have “boyfriends” and moving males into the house with her underage daughter. Total mother of the year. Repulsive.

I wonder what was going on in her life that she was homeschooled, and I wonder if she was receiving proper education and if she had a normal teenager social life. This perhaps led to her wanting to leave her life and relocate. The way she behaved during the 2 interviews gives a lot to think about. I feel that there's a lot more to the 'happy, no troble teenager' that her family portrays her to be. And I just could not take her 'I laugh when I'm nervous' excuse. She never spoke of the victim, only herself and her freedom.

I can promise you, she was one of those kids who wanted to be home schooled just to get out of going to school every day! She was probably always late or always cutting class! So… that’s interesting… Toby was told-off & told to stay away from Morgan (by her mom Gerry) after the revelation of his true age. Yet when he initially lied, and said that he was 16/17-which is still technically OLDER than Morgan-she was okay with them “messing around” in her house? He’s close to 18, even if it was a lie, then what? If Gerry had never found out the truth behind his age lie, and he really were on “the edge of 17”, was she gonna wait til then to kick him out? But until then, oh, no problem, let the kids have their fun; he can stay with us temporarily. Sure. Gerry also says the police wouldn’t help her, and no Amber Alert was announced early enough. Well, you look a bit enabling so, in a sense, they might think you don’t need urgent help.

She is right where she belongs. I find it odd that they cry for her to spend any time away from her life w/mom, yet they don't care that she made sure that she & toby decided that the man they killed would be fine without his life. 🤔 They drove off in his truck, laughing & living it up with his money, & left him dead. No problem. Now she just hopes they will forgive her.....boohoo...eh hem..., (under her breath.....she just hopes she can get out & get on with her life.....after all, no one took her life. She just got a change of address. Her mother brought that 20 something man in her home per request of her 15yr old daughter. I don't care if he looked 16. They were doing the mcwild under her roof. She knew & that was why she kicked him out. Well, Morgan was ready to run her own life by then.🙄 Momma can't interfere with the good stuff after she let her have it all that time.🐕🐩 What did she expect to happen?🙄 The prosecution had it right & the jury got it right.

Environment and heredity. Morgan wanted to leave her moms home she helped kill a man so it could happen. The mom shows up in court and defends the daughter with no remorse for what her daughter did. The mom later blames her own bad parenting. That is how the moms denial is justified. And the daughters denial is justified. She belongs in prison for life and no parole only because she is a minor. The victim had no second chance.

@@mtaylor7307exactly I had two times when I was young that happened to me where two men at my age of 14 & 16 years old in the 90s who manipulated me & lied to me about there age they both each separate time that happened to me where 21 years old. To believe they where around my age they lied about there age. Once men like this look for young girls with out young girls looking for them. They do have a lot of fear & power they hold & put on a young girl as a victim. Yet that girl had a option to leave that guy. She should of left him. She’s guilty as well equally. We each have the option to stop things that are wrong at anytime in our life. There both at fault they both should be guilty equally. When I found out they where 21 I left them or at least did my best to.

You all really think a sexual predator who preys on little girls isn't capable of manipulating a little girl and murder a man? The idea prosecutors would take the side of a child predator is absolutely disgusting. We are supposed to protect our children. Calling a child and an adult a 'loving couple' is absolutely disgusting and not realizing an adult could manipulate a child freshly exposed to hormones is just naive to a point of ridiculousness. The adult should be held accountable for molesting this child and murdering this poor disabled old man.
