Singing isn’t one of my strongest points, but once in a while I want it to rain because it’s extremely hot in the Philippines.
This time however, I really want to sing this song ever since I heard it. I first heard it during Lea Salonga’s Broadway concert, but it’s Ms. Kalila Aguilos rendition that made a lasting impression on me.
SOMEONE LIKE YOU is a song from the musical JEKYLL AND HYDE. I fell in love with this song the moment I heard Ms. Aguilos rehearsed it prior to the Press Preview in Repertory Philippines of this play in 2012.
The strength, raw emotions, and beauty of her voice made SOMEONE LIKE YOU become one of my favorite songs from there on.
