The show can but the message/philosophical ideas take hours to breakdown if you really want to get down and dirty . It’s the goat for a reason

They should’ve just continued the anime series the live action was trash

No need for a recap .. Live action completely butchered it and miss the whole point, essence and dynamics of the source material. Adding insult to injury the acting was bad and fight scenes are sloppy and cheesy.
