@@LittleNinjaXYBA ding ding ding. Especially when I was hugely pregnant, had a one year old, worked full time and was getting my master’s full time and I asked if I could sleep in on ONE Sunday (he’s a farmer so he worked every day but Sunday) because I’d had a very long week and was exhausted. He called me a lazy piece of crap and a worthless wife because I didn’t want to wake up (earlier than everyone else mind you) to make everyone breakfast, get my daughter and myself ready, and go to church. Dumped him and religion 3 years later.

When I met the love of my life, my mom thought he was wrong for me. I told her he wakes me up every morning softly with a kiss because he knew before I could tell him that I hate mornings. Here we are going on 11 years.

My 11 year long relationship recently fell to pieces. And from 0-9 years he made sure I knew he was my safe place and always would be then his sister died. Unfortunately (for her) it wasn't a sudden death, I tried so hard to talk sense into him to properly mend the rift they had that was due to something that happened with me but he chose to hide the truth about it which definitely hurt her more. He didn't listen and she died my grandad died a few days before his sister and him and my grandad were very close. He very quickly turned into a completely different person. I tried so fucking hard to do for him what he had done for me many times (being a grounded anchor and then also being the strong rope holding me up stopping me from just falling into the abyss). Sadly the rope started to fray but he not only wouldn't tell me and denied anything was wrong & he was actively dodging my attempts to drag him from the abyss. He also got a little too close to hell because the longer it went on he developed behaviour and tendancies that went from nasty to actual cruelty and went from being the most AMAZING dad in existence to being an unfair uncaring bully (at times). When the bomb finally went off the aftershock has totally obliterated my mental health and I mean so bad that I had to make the choice to send my daughter to stay with my mother because I was so scared I wouldn't be able to meet her needs properly. Well it's been 6 months since I sent her and nothing has been helping me. However I have started recording videos talking about everything that happened and documenting my efforts to put myself back together. Right now my house is disgusting (except my daughter Room which it's a bit messy but it's a 7 year old mess her door stays closed at all times. Believe it or not I actually have a few big ambitions and goals that would be a dream to be able to fulfill. Just incase my dreams do start to become possible not going to give spoilers 😂 but I want to launch 3 charities and a business that I honestly believe could be huge (ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you I don't ever usually believe in myself or my abilities so yeah). Ok a little spoiler.. I have however very slowly buying supplies for the first charity Mindful Hampers and have set up a go fund me (unfortunately nothing yet but I have made some jewellery to sell to help and my neighbour bought a couple so I've raised £7 on there. Sorry for the headache everyone probably has just from reading my book of a comment 😂😂

Every man I know dreams of nothing more than to experience at least once, what you two wake up to each and every morning on the trail… That’s to simply wake up to the love of your life laying beside you, and as you make them coffee you realize again just how special you are to have your best friend at your side, every single day!… And just as they just start to adorably wake up, then it hits you, that smile, now beaming on both your faces, especially the smile of yours that you had on your face as you were opening your eyes juuuust enough to take a sip of your coffee… These small, yet incredibly precious moments in life are what ALL good men and women dream of waking up to… Just never take these precious moments for granted, it’s these trips and simple mornings that you will remember fondly, not the fancy dinners, especially when you are much older, and are sadly no longer healthy enough to take these long trips into the mountains, and/or simply anywhere in the great outdoors… So continue enjoying, and sharing these precious moments!

I’ve camped at Joshua tree in 99. Memorial Day weekend plus anothe 5 days. It was an adventure at the start , as we drove inland about 3hrs to get there. As we arrived at about midnight, the wind was howling and off in the not too far distance was a forest fire burning quite ferociously up wind of us headed in our direction. Ashes flying all around us, with the smell of the fire in the nearby mountains. After wrestling with the tent for way longer than it usually takes. Finally we settled in with our dog shadow. Upon waking early before sunrise I looked to see how many other campers were with us in this little valley of giant boulders , very surprised to see at least 100 campsites filled and then some. It was a small city. It was clear as a bell whey woke up. A ranger passing throttled me the fire had either gone out or changed direction, as we were in the eventual path. It was a beautiful morning. We spent the week watching out for rattlesnakes and rowdy campers. All in all it was a good time. I’ve been back to it a few times , hiking alone in the desert, and even got to see a pair of grey iguanas hiding in a crevasse watching me watch them. Its one of the most surreal places I’ve ever been. I hope it hasn’t changed since then. Or much.
