Went to a Cowboy Mouth concert by accident one year. I’ve never had so much fun at a concert before. Blew me away!

I saw them live about 15 years ago, and as others have stated, one of the best live acts I've seen.

I saw them many years ago at Music Midtown in ATL (actually seen em a few times there over the years) and the singer/drummer got his tech to play this song while he climbed the scaffolding of the stage. BTW, he was a lot thinner then lol. Anyway, he got about 30 or 40 ft up there (he took a mike with him) and said "insurance is for sissies" as he was hanging on with one arm...funny as hell & will never forget it. BTW, he also said he wrote this song when they were in Atlanta. Cool band, good times!

part theater, part revival, part frat party, part mardi gras. you will be forever changed after a CM show, whether fred sprays you with sweat, tosses you a drum stick, snarls-smiles, exhorts you to leap, sing or get down. its a jolt of energy. you wont need caffeine for days.

Legendary live shows. First saw them open for Barenaked Ladies in the late 90's. Saw them numerous times after that, whenever we could. My kids grew up on them. Best show was on Landsdowne St. in Boston, during the 2003 Cowboy Up playoffs. Fred chanted "the name of the band is COWBOY UP!" and the crowd went stupid. Climbed up to the balcony. Man knows how to play an audience. I miss Paul Sanchez especially, but also JTG and Rob Savoy. What a great lineup.

I first saw CM at Springfest in Pensacola, FL back in the 90's. They weren't as well known then and were on the bill in the early afternoon. Probably 100-200 people were watching the show. I was sitting on the VIP bleachers off to the side of the stage. Fred jumped off the stage, marched over, grabbed me by the arm and dragged me down to the front of the stage. He then rounded up anyone who was nearby and demanded we join the crowd. CM then commenced to rock our world. I'm a convert.

I saw them a few years back in Nashville at the Dancin' in the District concert series. They weren't the headlining band that night, but after all the energy we had was given up for Cowboy Mouth, just about everyone left before Better than Ezra came on stage. Cowboy Mouth is, as Fred puts it, a pure rock 'n' roll orgasm.

They came to huntsville's summer fest, they had all of downtown closed off and it was an epic concert in the streets, and cowboy mouth had all of downtown in riot mode...Trully EPIC concert.

I see that the lead singer Fred Leblanc was the lead singer of Dash Rip Rock. I went to college in Louisiana in the 1980s. That was a while ago so I guess I am out of the loop. I knew this song from somewhere.

This is a cover of a Dash Rip Rock song from the 80s. Dash Rip Rock was from New Orleans and I still think they play gigs. I have the album called Ace of Clubs.

This is by far the best song i've heard from these guys...otherwise...they are average at best. I would be bored to tears watching these guys live. They are a less talented Radiators clone. Fred would grate on my nerves after two songs of trying to ram this boredom down my throat.

OK i admit i dont remember the drummers name but he had a black leather jacket when i talked to him at Enoch's in Monroe La in 1986. He and Bill did a great show and we talked about Georgia Satellites. I never understood what happened between these boys. I can only imagine what would happen if there was a reunion. Please make the music you did when you were together. Fuck the bullshit. the glass is half full.

Ohh, I love them but this is too fast. The slower tempo they did when saw them from 1990-95 or so was much better. More atmosphere and emotion. The faster version is just that little bit too much. I saw them in New Orleans (so many times), then in NC (where I hung out with one of the band members before the show and got invited on stage at the end of the show for LA Woman) and then saw them again some years later in NYC, and they always put on a fantastic live show. But I guess by this point, this song was too familiar and lost the finesse.
