Why not use a mod 6 and go carb ? The reason I ask is because you say it's a budget build but you're basically just building a GT

I think the engine is the main reason. With a carb your limited with intake options and the variable cams really wake up the power potential and they need the power pack to complete the setup. Yeah its a GT but at V6 starting point. You could get a wrecked GT I guess.

I have a full harness, trans harness, ECU, gas pedal out of a 2013 mustang but I have no literature. Is there anywhere I can find a wiring diagram

Question , if I have a “Standalone turnkey” pallet engine do I need the control pack , it comes with pedal, fuse box, pcm, alternator, radiator, E-fans, You can start the engine on the pallet if connected to power and fuel

If you have a run pallet you will not need this control pack. It has a PCM and wiring with it. This is easier to wire up but you should have everything you need already. Just a lot of wires you may not use.

Hey I’m confused how the clutch system will work, I have the same mustang you guys are doing but it’s a manual, so how will all the stock stuff hook up to the mt82 and clutch fluid line?

Would this control pack (M-6017-504V) work for a '15 Coyote to '02 V6 Mustang swap? You mentioned the downloadable instructions, but I couldn't find it on your site.

Its a manual PCM set up so no auto trans harness. FRPP does sell Gen 3 auto control packs now with trans harness.

Would you need a control pack if ypu have the entire donor car?

No if you have an entire car and you are transferring everything you do not need a control pack. You just need PATS turned off in the computer unless you have the original keys and are transferring literally everything out of the car.

@@BrenspeedEngineering is it that simple? I'm about to start this conversion using a 2017 manual donor. I opened the stock pcm tune file using HP tuners and there was a single switch for pats off. Is it really that easy? Does the pcm not need a speed signal at all. I did notice the match rpm down shift option there also so a clutch switch will be needed at a minimum, and also, is the boss alternator upgrade a smart alternator controlled by pcm or internally regulated? I checked your site, they definitely are a cheap upgrade. Cheers 👍 🇦🇺

Hi Ricardo here is a link to some control packs. The manual control packs can be used with most any manual transmission or even a manual shift automatic. The main thing is you need the correct control pack for whatever generation engine you are running like the 1, 2, or gen 3. Here is that link www.brenspeed.com/coyote-swap-control-packs.html
