It’s beautiful and the bedrooms are spacious. Love the double sinks in the ensuite. My only criticism is the front door which looks out of place as it’s too narrow and shoved on the side. I suggest replace it with a more imposing door as it is entrance to the house and should tell the drama of the house once you open it.

Love the front porch and back deck. Don't need a terrace on the sides of houses.Needs a fireplace, except in Florida! Maximize closets in all bedrooms, maximize storage in bathrooms. Always give square footage and sq. Meters.

Build in the closet in the first bedroom and take space to make a built in closet by the front door then swing the door to the left. It's too tight the other way. Move that bedroom door as far down the hall as possible just to make it a bit more private. Completely remove the wall and door to washer and dryer space and just have that as a big open laundry/mud room. Put a door in the hallway if necessary, just past the bathroom. I really don't like having the master closet right next to the toilet. I would just move the toilet next to the sinks and take that toilet space into the closet with the door in the bedroom. I would also either get rid of the window there or just make it smaller and higher. That would almost double the closet space and keep the bathroom private. I like the overall plan and the simple roof line and foundation. However, where I live, you must have space for HV/AC and a hot water heater so I guess I would have to use space in the laundry area for that.

I agree about moving that bedroom door down the hall and perhaps extending the hallway wall into the dining area a bit to give it privacy, and removing the laundry room wall would make a more usable laundry/mud room. I'm not keen on the master closet being accessed through the bathroom, but I do like that there are places for coats and footwear at both the front door for guests and the back door for family. Andysuber941, heat pumps are becoming popular for HVAC even in colder states, and on-demand hot water (tankless) is possible, but as you note, there's space in the laundry/mud room for more conventional equipment.
