First and foremost, CONGRATULATIONS on the launch of the Rambouillet yarn AND the roving!! Yet another exciting turn for the shop and your business that I am sure you will ride with success. I loved all of the gorgeous finished projects: from the cozy hood worn by Simone, the special natural black socks (the "store sample", lol), and her Nightshift shawl knit in that lovely hand-spun yarn. Oh those colours! I couldn't stop looking at it! Betsy's Sycamore cardigan is equally worth mentioning - it is just beautiful! That Spruce colour!! I'm sure the recipients of those gifts will be very grateful. 🥰🥰 The Patti wrap worn by Betsy is so plush and looks just wonderful to wrap yourself in. It must have been a fun knit, too. The Rein sweater worn by Kim is so charming and perfect for this season. Last but not least - the Harmony Part. How CUTE are those sheep?!! Loved the music, by the way, just perfect for the segment. I watched it more than once, just for the serenity of watching them doing their sheep-y things and for the beautiful surroundings. Thank you to all for taking the time for putting together yet another wonderful podcast. A big hug from Rosanna 💖💖💖

Hey Kim- I find if I work on the more complicated knitting in the morning (colorwork, brioche, etc) I can concentrate and get it done more successfully and save the straight knitting for tv time in the evening. Of course my coffee gets cold…. Great podcast, love the addition of Betsy and Simone!

It is ABSOLUTELY Simone's fault that I got one of your support spindles. ❤ It spins like a dream!! She makes it look so easy--it's not. But with some practice I managed to figure out long draw almost by accident, though still needs lots of practice. The advantage is being able to spin sitting cross legged on my recliner. The way I ended up plying was to wind off on a ball winder, then pulling from the middle and outside and plied on my wheel, just letting the ball drop as I went. And, of course, my spindle needed friends so I ordered 3 more--some kind of fancy. Thank you Simone😊!!!! I live near Belfast, Maine--so not too far--and would love to come visit. I love both of your podcasts.❤❤ It's like spending time with friends that are interested in real life.

Happy birthday Kim’s mother, and many more! I’ve been dreaming - literally in my sleep! - about combiningg a brown wool with a yellow/gold kidsilk. I just think that would be so pretty. And speaking of cats and kidsilk: my cat - an elderly fellow who acts like a kitten - took a look at a kidsilk hank today and fell into a frenzy. He attacked it, grabbed it, bit it, shook it back and forth to break its neck, and started pulling it apart. It was so funny and unexpected. I watched, laughing, for a while, but finally took it away. It’s a little too pricey for a cat toy. I really hope you get to your KZfaq goal - come on everyone! Give a push! Also you might remind people to subscribe if they watch regularly. Another channel was mildly indignant when mentioning folks who watch unsubscribed. No need to respond unless I’ve said something that needs correcting. Carry on - it’s a busy time of year. Xx

OMG I love that night shift shawl. I am in the process of spinning yarn for one of them right now, started learning this year, just love it. I made a night shift, but there is something very attractive about spinning the yarn myself. I love the photography of the horses in the snow and Simone in her winter gear, so fantastic. Andrea Mowry stated in her potcast "I'll knit if I want to" that she was learning the support spindle and was having trouble figuring it out. I was nearly going to tell her to get in touch with Simone for some tips. I'm curious how the plying happens and how you get it off the spindle. Cheers.
