It is so refreshing to see decor that really looks like Christmas with lots of traditional color and treasured items that your kids will always remember. You did an extraordinary amount of work under extremely difficult and almost impossible conditions and especially with the profound sadness that you are feeling with the loss of your mother. You were really able to pull it off, it’s spectacular. I am sure that the entire neighborhood is dying to see the inside of your home! May the joys of the season be yours and may you have time to relax and enjoy it.

Completely agree, I love traditional Christmas colours. I honestly don't know how Lauren is doing it, I lost my Dad 23rd Dec 2 years this Christmas and still not right. There's been no real joy since, try to put on a happy face for my children

The thing I do to relax during Christmas is watching Hallmark movies! In a life full of Christmas, kids, and chaos, it’s really nice to know what to expect.. I ALWAYS know what to expect from a Christmas Hallmark movie. #1 The couple WILL fall in love, #2 Nothing truly devestating ever happens and #3 The happy couple will always sail off into the sunset! Somehow in a crazy world where I can’t control most of the chaos that’s going on, it’s nice to know what to expect from a Hallmark movie, it’s the same every time!My guilty pleasure fs!

I think the traditional theme has really brought out those nostalgic feelings of home and comfort and Christmas magic and I think it was a great way to go. Plus someday your 4 kids are going to be raiding all those decorations for their someday homes as you have nearly a museum worth, and that's such a fun thought. I love taking out my grandparents and stuff from my mom and Dad (who is no longer with us) and just bringing back all those amazing memories of Christmas seasons past.

It is my 46th year without mine. I miss her most during this season. But my memories of the German Traditions still live on and I feel her nearby every year. God bless you all.

I am very fortunate to live in Pennsylvania, and have visited QVC several times. I, too, dreamed of working for them! My Christmas decor this year is mainly using items purchased from the QVC outlet throughout the years at unbelievable sale prices. Quality, Value, and Convenience is truly accurate . I'm a huge fan of QVC and HSN as well love them! Now that most of my decorating is complete, I usually put on some relaxing music and light up the place with sparking lights and candles and really mediate on my blessings.

To me, there is nothing better than traditional Christmas decor. Other things may be cute and fun (not the neutral, I only like a rustic/nordic vibe, not the beige and black going around this year) but Traditional Christmas is just magical. I wanted to be intentional in enjoying this season, but unfortunately my place of work is making it very hard, loading us with extra work to an excessive point. Let's hope I can find a way to enjoy it to the fullest anyway.
