Lauren after my Mom passed my brother and I both have cookbooks they she got in 1957 for bridal shower gifts.The awesome thing is it not only has my Mom's handwriting on certain receipes but also has my Grandma's.❤

What a beautiful idea of your mom sharing her recipes in a cookbook for you! I hope that selecting her recipes and preparing them will bring you wonderful memories and also comfort you! We lost our mom a few months ago and I found comfort preparing her recipes for side dishes for Thanksgiving dinner. The Winter Wonderland of birch trees is stunning! The new trend this year on You Tube is tying velvet ribbons on Christmas trees. Excited to see the transformation of your home when the construction is completed.

So sorry to hear about your mom! I lost my mom in 2010 and I still miss her! They say time heals all wounds but it doesn’t help during the holidays! My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family! Thank you for taking the time to share your videos! I enjoy them very much! Peace be with you!

My sisters daughter in law gave her a wooden cutting board with one of my mom’s recipes on it in her writing. I think she did it on her cricket? It’s beautiful and she has it in a special place in her kitchen.

Lauren this brought so many memories of my mom recipes too ( she passed in 2007) and I also have her recipe books ( our family are from Spain & Cuba and we are all amazing cooks. Love the idea of laminating your mom's recipes. Such a great idea for your children to have when they get older. I am sure they will treasure all of your recipes as well! I LoVe that you have your Mom’s recipes in her handwriting. I would recommend scanning that book so each of your children have a copy as well as a back up. You probably already thought of that. Love your channel so much

your deck is just beautiful and I don't know if this happens to you but.I lost my mom and when I tried my.hand at cooking I always felt like she was there helping me cheering me on.I loved that just know your mom will be there always until the end.im so glad your still decorating I'm sure your mom wouldnt want you to stop I know mine wouldn't keep up the good work 😊

Your dinner looked heavenly. I have watched you cleaning your fridge for a long time now and still marvel at how few leftovers you seem to have in the icebox. Last night we processed the two hams that we ordered from our favorite ham company. We ran them through the slicer and packed all of the meats into vacuum seal bags. While doing that we finished up a brisket and packed the meat in handy dandy portions for several suppers.

Hi Lauren, Everything is looking beautiful! Making your mom's recipes is great. My mom passed away 4 years ago, and I'm hosting Christmas this year. I always make my mom's roast beef, And her stuffed ribs, also her stuffing. It helps me because she is a part of Christmas. Maybe make a recipe of your mom's for Christmas.

They are beautiful and can't wait to see the trees throughout the entire house! So nice to have all the space to do multiple trees. Your dinner looked wonderful and I will be trying it. Mi Querida Lauren es Insprirador todo lo que haces en tu hogar y más aún por el momento que estas pasando por la perdida de tu mamá, creo que No es necesario que te abrumes con tantas decoraciones Navideñas, se escucha en tu respiración el ver tantas cosas que tiene en tu sala por acomodar, creo que la Navidad se disfruta por si sola y sobre todo por el gozo de estar vivos y agradecer y no necesitas poner tantas cosas porque asi como se pone implica quitar, limpiar y guardar y eso es muy agotador lo digo por experiencia propia, y gastar aunque no creo que eso sea un inconveniente para ti, ahora aprendi que menos es más, y creeme que no te vamos a dejar de ver por que no pongas tu Casa super Navideña, eres una mujer Muy agradable y sencilla con eso basta para seguirte.
