Cozy Outdoor Hygge | Simple Living Winter Vlog | Slow Living \\
A perfect morning to take you all along on a walk down to the river with some cozy outdoor hygge. Hygge is about getting out in nature too! In fact getting outdoors and enjoying some simple living is good for your physical and emotional health.
Make sure you are dressed well and layered so you can stay out longer and enjoy the beautiful outdoors during the winter months.
Living simple and enjoying the seasons takes practice and even some fortitude to get out of our warm and cozy homes, but I always enjoy coming home to my warm blazing fire and my cozy cottage.
Slow living isn’t a trend for me its a lifestyle I have embraced for years, I really learned it from my mom and grandma. We always just took our time to enjoy the beauty of everyday. I’m a romantic at heart, with a very practical lifestyle approach “ keep it simple”. I grew up on a farm and I think that furthered my love of simplicity and back to the basics mindset.

Getting outside everyday is the only way that I stay sane in the winter! Having livestock is a blessing in that no matter what; snow, rain, sleet, hail you have to get outside and feed them everyday. We go for a hike at least three or four times a week. Even on the rainy days I love to sit on the covered front porch all bundled up with a cup of hot tea. I love nature and winter, to me, is the most beautiful season. I have a large fenced-in backyard. We got a rescue dog over the summer. So my excuse to get outdoors is to make a maze (or paths) for him to run around in the backyard. He is small and low to the ground, so I need to make these paths for him). I can go for a walk in my own backyard, just playing with him. Winter is so refreshing and beautiful.

On reading your right up..... I realise my granny was the one person who did slow living with out even realising she did it.... I can remember as, a child sitting in her cosy cottage where she would make rag rugs.. I used to cut up old clothes into strips..for her to peg into hessian backing.... . And we would make cakes and proper hot chocolate and she would tell me stories, about her childhood way back.... Thanks for your channel it inspiring...

Awww 🥰 telling me the story of your Granny had me in tears 😭 my Great Grandmother was the same and I would beg for her to tell me of stories and how they made it on their farm during the depression and how they did things long ago. She made the everyday special ❤️

My favorite thing to do is spend time one one one or take a few kids out just to hang out together ❤️ And you can’t beat hot cocoa and the great outdoors!

I know this place well on the river. My husband and I have lunch there occasionally. You can just about see my home from this Spot! I grew up on the banks of this river and I can't imagine living any where else.💖💖

Nice and cosy ❤👍I live in California where we don't have snow only up in the higher elevations, hoping one day we will have some snow, I think the first we had some was in around 1963 and the last time around was when my granddaughter was born and it was December 25 ,she's in her 30s now so I call her my snow baby. Thank you for your comforting video. ❤

I think that’s the secret- to embrace your surroundings instead of running from them. So many people even if they were outside would have taken one look at that slushy bench and said “Nope!” Look what they would have missed.
