I'm on a mission to make beautiful spaces in our home - in the midst of cracked plaster, peeling paint, and spackled walls!
The big repairs are coming along slowly, but we realized we don't need to wait for those to make our rooms beautiful. This past week, I started working on a cozy play area, making the furniture brighter, cleaning the area rug, and adding some nature-inspired beauty!

Beautiful! Thank you for the background kid stories, too. :) I have a habit of putting off my projects because of the chaos around me. So, this is good inspiration for me to just do them! I also tend to feel like I don't have the time to tackle projects, but I suspect you are better at managing your time with school, laundry, cooking, cleaning, projects, etc. than I am. :) I appreciate your videos! Thank you for doing them.

This warms my heart -- that's EXACTLY what I want to encourage with the blog and this channel. We can find delight in the middle of the chaos. It took me years to learn that! "I suspect you are better at managing your time with school, laundry, cooking, cleaning, projects, etc" Oh dear, no! Not. at. all. This is the third time someone has said that lately and I think I need to do a video on it. I can plan and organize really well, but my follow through and maintenance is horrible. Truly horrible. Every day is a new start and I have to rely on God's grace to help me make it last a little longer than the previous try.
