The fireplace crackles in your cozy tree house. Even through the windows, you can smell the mist and rain outside and see the swaying branches of the pine trees in the forest. Night has fallen in your little paradise. You relax and enjoy the quiet ambience of an evening spent reading by the fire. Even the gentle rocking and creaking of the wooden frames is barely noticeable.
Nestled in the upper branches of a sturdy old tree, you feel a sense of peace and tranquility, and you stretch out to relax as the rain gently falls on the roof of your tree house.

I closed the window, pulled the curtain down, turned on the cold air conditioner, and opened this video. The rain made me remember my childhood days, when it rained all day, my sister and I were in our old house, studying or playing, waiting for my parents to return after a day of work; then we had dinner together, watched TV, and then went to sleep. There was no internet, no facebook, no smartphone ... just the sound of rain like that, with trees, with insects, slightly chilly weather and feeling of peace.

Somewhere from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 This reminds me of my school days when I used to come home from school in afternoon, took a quick shower even after getting drenched in the ceaseless rain. I'd have some hot soupy noodles and curl in my bed. Back then life wasn’t so stressful , had plenty of time and specially on rainy days, it's a yaaay for bookworms! Got my favourite adventure novel and jumped into solving the mystery or some Tagore’s short stories that made my teenage soul so so nostalgic! Thanks for everything even after the odds, life's so good, this feels so good!

I love the asmr/sleep ambience community because look at the comments. There's no fighting, no discourse, no hurtful arguments. Only thinking of good things, of our dreams for the future, and our best memories from our childhood. I wish the world was like this community. Together, just observing the world, enjoying it and talking sweetly about what we want our dream homes to be, about beautiful things and joyful times we've had. 1.) You are sitting here, with a warm drink in your hand. You have blankets on and you are snuggling up with a good book. While you listen to the rain faintly in the background; you get lost in your book and all is well. Peaceful. 2.) You are in a cottage in the middle of a forest. You have a fire going and you are also sitting in a comfortable chair. You have a warm drink in your hand, the book in the other, and you are wrapped in blankets. The rain is pouring down, but it only adds to the comfortable atmosphere. 3.) You are in a little fort, made of cozy blankets and warm pillows. While the wind outside slips through the crack of the door, you are nice and comfortable in your little fort. You can have a warm drink in your hand as well as reading a good book, or you could just be relaxing; your eyes closed while you slowly drift off...to sleep... Thanks for reading this guys! I love rain, it refreshes and heals my souls. I love to walk under the rain and no one cannot see me cry, love the smell of it. Peace in mind... I remember the same. We get a lot of rain here in Kentucky and thunderstorms. I grew up in a day with just black and white TV, with just 3 channels to choose from. and UHF. I would turn the bottom dial and sometimes get some far away channel that would barely come in at night. No internet, no computers no smart phones no facebook or anything electronic. Everyone always played outside. My big thing was collecting baseball cards and comic books. I loved when it would rain and storm. I would lay in my bed on a stormy night and just watch my room light up when the lightening would flash sometimes, then the gentle rumble of thunder. Oh those were the days. I had 2 sisters in the other room and I would be hitting the wall telling them to shut up! So I could sleep. I was the oldest by 2 years.

These kind of videos take me back to when I was little and would go into the bathroom early in the morning while my parents were getting ready for work. Dad in the shower and mom blow-drying her hair. I would be curled up in one of my dad's t-shirts and bits of water would hit me occasionally through the shirt holes. Always found it so relaxing. Havent found a video that "on-the-nose" yet, but these come close lol

This has become one of my favorite recently. I have a lot of these types of videos saved for days i want to read, but for whatever reason, the other ones seem so loud and noisy, but this one perfectly assimilates into background noise. So, thank you.

This is so great! I always used to get anxiety in the dark. I've grown very sensitive to light because of my autism, so I couldn't sleep with any lights on either. These videos have really helped me relax in the dark. Now I hardly ever feel anxiety in the dark anymore. Good night!

You are traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop, the Twilight Zone! " I've tried the door....it won't open"! "We're trapped in here"! "Calm down"! There has to be a reason for us being here with a fire burning in the fireplace and the lights dimmed low". "The rain outside....why is it raining"?! I don't remember it raining when we got here"! "When did we get here"?! "I don't remember traveling here"! "Do you guys"?! "No absolutely not"! ......a small group of people all gathered in a nice little cottage. Fireplace dancing flames causing indescriminet shadows on the floor and walls. Warmth eminating from it keeping the cold of the night at bay. A light rain falling outside and a distant rumble of thunder. All these things to these people means something. Shortly, they will fall asleep. Comfortable and content with their surroundings. Everything came together for these people who gather here for one purpose. To sleep and sleep well.....in the twilight zone.

I hope you don't mind me mentioning this here... I just purchased a bluetooth headband (from amazon), which is amazing for listening to these rain/storm sounds in bed. Theres no more discomfort form using other earphones. Its surprisingly good quality audio too and is also perfect for when exercising. I hope others will check them out..anything to help those of us who struggle to unwind and get some sleep is a good thing. 😊

I love the pouring rain during the day, so relaxing. At night I sleep with earplugs because I have to have silence. Insomnia does this .

Just saw this...a yr too late lol. I was working during the covid bullshit but I count myself blessed cause I got to go to work when so many lost their jobs, homes, family business's. I grew up in the 80's and it was the best. Rainy days playing with my older brothers and younger sister driving our mom nuts. I was the channel changer then . Playing outside catching lightning bugs, swinging on the swings in the park across the street. No phone, Facebook or even ac we had a fan in the window that's it. I love my childhood.

So someone built a treehouse with high ceilings and a heavy stone fireplace and you’re in it during the worst nor’easter that ever hit the woods, the poor trees holding up this monster are swaying to the breaking point, the ground below is two feet under water, and a big old fire is burning. Relaxing.

Sehr,sehr angenehm! Bei uns ist es sehr laut im Treppenhaus und ich kann oftmals nicht schlafen da ich gedanklich von meinen Sorgen nicht wegkomme.Diese Videos helfen mir sehr! Wie gut,dass ich ein Tablett habe,welches auch nach 20 Stunden Benutzung ( tagsüber schreiben,Nachts diese Videos laufen lassen ) nicht heiß wird

Herrlich was für ein Glück muss mann haben wenn mann die Option hat ein so einer schönen Hütte oder baumhaus leben zu können da bräuchte ich keine Villa mehr irgendwo wo hin wo es schön ist und wieder mehr eins mit der Natur zu sein mann kommt mehr zu ruhe und abends kocht mann am feuer und wärmt sich auf wärdend mann irgendwann in den schlaf gleitet wow muss das schön sein 😍👌

A nice cosy fire inside away from the pouring rain, and the wind. Pull up an chair in front of the fire, and curled up with one of your favourite books to read. As the night goes on pull the curtain across the window, make sure all locks are secure in my tree house. An more permanent place of residence. Lovely.👍
