I have been BLESSED beyond measure to have been part of this wonderful organization for the last 12 years! I have been given the opportunity to return to paid employment and have been successfully employed for over 5 years collectively. I have made meaningful relationships with the staff and members of my clubhouse and as a matter of fact, I met and fell in love with another member and we have been married since August 2016. Clubhouse is amazing!

I love Clubhouse International. I used to go to Harmony Clubhouse in Washington MO and have missed it so much since I moved away. I'm hoping to reconnect with Clubhouse when move to Connecticut

I was the E.D. of a 3 year certified Clubhouse in Ottawa, Canada for a number of years. Funding forced us to move away from the model over time. This was a real shame as although we continued to provide a series of employment services, including 4 social enterprises, we were never able to support the same volume of folks in need. Clubhouse is a very powerful recovery model and as Joel explains in the interview, it is very cost effective.
